Excellent services. The room was super clean and comfortable. The breakfast amazing! The only thing that we considered was to expensive was the valet parking... $39 per day tax it was a little too much.

St Augustine has a true resort destination with this Embassy Suites hotel. Having stayed at many hotels in the area for many years it was an unexpected surprise to see the level of services and accommodations that are offered. Full breakfast, afternoon happy hour, bar service at the pool and an outstanding restaurant if you’re staying in for dinner. A wonderful experience that we will be doing again in the future.

I think this was our 3rd time visiting the property. And we love it! However, there were a couple of differences between this time and the other two times: valet service was lacking upon arrival as no one offered to help us until we already had a cart loaded; the food was excellent except the charcuterie board-terrible with a diminished quality and selection and not at all like the ones we’ve had during our other visits. The valet service this morning was excellent and we appreciated it. Also, the housekeeping service was excellent as they accommodated our requests during my husband’s sickness on Tuesday and Wednesday. Overall, we loved our week there and look forward to our next time at the beach with you!

The resort was lovely. Everyone was helpful and nice. We had an issue with our shower not draining properly, even after someone came to check it. Asked for more towels and pillows, they were brought up in a timely manner. The valet was great, they always opened my car door for me and they were quick about getting our car when I requested it through the app. The pool, lobby and outdoor spaces were beautiful. Loved the Starbucks in the lobby. We will be back to this resort again. *There were machines on the beach replenishing the sand so we couldn’t use the beach directly behind the resort but truly we’re not upset as this needs to be done.

Beautiful Property- Early Evening entertainment on the outdoor patio made it a perfect stay. Happy Hour made it even better. Mandatory valet was a bit expensive but they were so responsive to bring our car when requested, never had to wait.

We purchased an ocean view suite, but when we got there they were working on the beach directly in front of us with several earth moving machines( that were very noisy) that worked day and night, with spotlights at night that shown into our suite. Therefore no beach access and no being able to listen to the waves. Due to the noise and the lights at night the use of the balcony was limited. We paid premium dollar for this suite for the view and balcony, and we did not see or use either! We were not told that this major work was going on until the DAY WE ARRIVED, so no way to cancel, which we would have done. We had email conversations with the management, we told them what we thought was a fair price to make up for these issues, they said they would get back to us, NEVER DID. What a way to run a major hotel chain! Needless to say we will not be staying at a Hilton hotel again, and will spread the word to my family and friends. By the way we are Hilton Honors members.

The entire property was under construction. All you heard was construction site noises, banging on metal and tractors outside with beeping. Double check they aren’t doing construction before you go. The pool bar was closed, staff didn’t come out till like 10-11am to start taking orders. All they did for us was refund the 20$ resort fee. 5am construction wake up times

First off let me preface this review by saying we had a great time. The property was fantastic, the food was excellent and the staff were very helpful and friendly. The thing I was not happy about was the beach was closed. Now I understand that they are trying to reclaim the beach because of the hurricane but this should have been noted on the website that there is a possibility the beach would be closed. They tried their best with providing a shuttle but who wants to do that? On the website they only stated there would be construction and some noise but nothing on there that states the beach can possibly be closed so you will need to be shuttled back and forth to another area and you need to pay for your umbrellas, etc. Needless to say, I probably would have considered another property if we were forewarned. We mostly just stayed by the pool and listened to the bulldozers working all day. No biggie, we had fun either way!

The property is beautiful and so is the area around. Unfortunately the beach was being worked on and there were construction trucks working the whole time we were there. This made it difficult to hang out by the pool (noise and beeping) and the beach at the hotel was closed. It would have been good if the hotel had notified us prior to our arrival of this issue and given us a chance to cancel. Very disappointing as we could have gone anywhere else.

I love everything about this place. The customer service was amazing, we were early and able to valet park and enjoy the hotel amenities before our room was ready. I loved that, the only downside is the beach access was closed, it was loud machinery all day and night. Other than that we had an amazing stay. The hotel did shuttle and back and forth to the beach. Overall great stay.

Picked this property for beach access. We did not get the room we reserved. The hotel blamed Expedia. They said they were full up and could not change rooms. BEACH CLOSED FOR CONSTRUCTION! NO BEACH ACCESS AND NOISY. Noise continued all day and night. We were not offered a discount for the wrong room. We should have been given the opportunity to cancel, which i would have done! NOT HAPPY!

I paid extra for the ocean view balcony room on Expedia in advance. I received a regular room with no balcony and no ocean view. The hotel was overbooked and unable to give a refund for the difference because I booked with Expedia.

Rented an oceanfront hotel with Balcony. Paid for a more expensive hotel right on the beach for easier access. Guess what , the beach was closed. Still had to paid the same. Arrived to hotel and was surprised when they said I needed to pay an additional $670.00 . $36.00 per day for parking at the expensive hotel I already paid for. Valet parking only. Every time I needed my car I had to tip. I tipped $5 two or three times a day and even got a text telling me to be sure and tip each time they had to retrieve my car , but the text had an amount of $7.00. The guy checking me in was not a friendly person. The rest of the staff was awesome. Very polite. If you stay at the Embassy suite hotel be prepared for check in. When they put a hold on your card they don’t just put a hold on it , they actually draw the money out. $400 in case you tear up the room. They did put it back into my account after checkout. Don’t forget as you checkout you also have to pay $97 fee. I probably will refuse to ever stay at this hotel again. $1300 for four nights and a surprise $670 more upon check in. The hotels nice but the Beach was closed . We had to take a shuttle to another beach. Not to mention the construction that was going on at this beach. All night long heavy equipment beeping non stop for many hours. When I rented the room it said on the website construction on beach would be finished weeks before. It was not and I had no idea until I drove 10 hours for this vacation.

Te property itself is beautiful. However beach refurbishment was going on which they did let us know about a head of time. However, the outside bar was closed and being renovated. You couldn’t even lie by the pool and relax without hearing banging on metal for more than an hour. This was not disclosed to us beforehand. When I told them at checkout the response was we didn’t know either. Wow ok then. Room was never cleaned other than bed made once and trashcans emptied once. Floor was never cleaned or the shower our entire stay. Had to find room towels on two different occasions. Called front desk on one of these occasions and said they would bring some right up. 2 plus hours later we came home after dinner and they were finally left. Too late, I had already found one of the cleaning crew and got towels myself from them. On a good note..breakfast was fantastic and I loved Starbucks being there too.

Nice property, pool area. Great free breakfast. Walls a bit thin could hear neighbors, but all in all we had a great stay. Once the beach restoration is complete I would return.

The construction around the hotel was terrible. We couldn’t walk right off the hotel property onto the beach. The hallways smelled like urine, now accepting dogs. Several weddings prevented us from full access to the hotel. Happy hour drinks were terrible and the first night’s happy hour food was stale.

450-680$ average per night doesn’t work at all I spent 1300$ for 2 nights was completely awful ,don’t waste your money and time here ,jacuzzi always packed,pool area close at 7 pm ,beach area is on construction is a completely mess ,free breakfast?ok wait for your old bread,cold coffee ,prepared yourself for 38$ per stay for parking there’s not other options, I feel cheated with this hotel, never again !

Absolutely loved our stay at this beautiful resort. Great views all around the property, especially at sunrise. Big, clean pool accompanied by plenty of chairs to lay out. Service at the resort, including attached restaurants, was great — especially Frankie. All of her suggestions were spot on. Nonnas Trattoria in St. Augustine was excellent, as was Sunset Grille on A1A near the resort. Would definitely stay here again!

They would not let us check in until exactly 4pm. Things I wish we would have reviewed before booking. 1. If you drove here you must valet your vehicle for a fee plus obvious tip every time you need vehicle. 2. Beach is washed out. ( not their fault) 3. Pool only open until 7pm. Because the air was cool I wanted to use the outdoor jacuzzi at around 8pm. But couldn’t.

I like the fact that the hotel has a lot of space both indoor and outdoor to relax with family members. We booked the hotel because of its easy access to the beach. However, when we checked in, we were told that the beach has been washed away by a storm. That was disappointing. We didn't like the fact that we had to pay for valet parking. that should have been included in the room rental.

Highlight of our stay was Trevor at the front desk. He was incredibly friendly and attentive from the start and my five year old looked for him to say hi every time we passed the lobby. The entire staff were hospitable, gracious, and friendly. We can’t wait to come back when the beach is open. Thanks for an awesome spring break!
