We stay here a lot and usually have no complaints, but this time it was not as great. The music on the pool speakers was so loud and it went on until after 9:30pm. It was being controlled by someone on staff because they would skip songs. We know this because we came down at 9pm to use the spa after it was empty from all the kids. The spa jets were broken, and there was no note telling us otherwise, so we got ready, came down, only to find that the jets didn’t work. The room (247) had blood splatter on the ceiling (from injection use, I know this because I work cleaning public parks in Las Vegas), had dirty red decorative pillows on the beds which I don’t think can even be cleaned properly, and I don’t think the room had been vacuumed in a bit because there was crumbs along the bed. When we checked out there was no vacuum noises although we saw tons of carts cleaning vacated rooms. On that note as well, the hotel maid barely knocked before just entering our room while we were getting ready. Did NOT appreciate that. They should knock LOUDLY, not with whatever they used to knock with that could barely be heard. I think it was a room key. She only waited maybe one second and then just came in. We had no time to reply because we didn’t know what the noise was. Not sure we’ll return. Used to love it here and have been coming here for years because it’s different and well located, but this kinda put us over the edge. Sucks.
