This was not our first stay at this establishment, but it is certainly our last! Upon check-in, we were told the elevator was not working. Things happen, I understand however, we stayed eight days and it never got fixed. Our very first day at the beach, got back to the hotel, had to walk up two flights, and our keys did not work because they were programmed wrong 😡 had to walk back down to the office Our room, that costed almost $3000, was very dated. Had a full kitchen, but very few utensils. The whirlpool bath was in horrible condition, I used it one time and black stuff came out of the Jets Now, let’s just talk about the band they had! The music was so loud in our room (again just under $3000 for the week) that we could not hear our TV! When I called to complain, I was told the band would be done at 10 PM. So we had our TV turned all the way up, and I could still barely hear it This is definitely not a family, friendly hotel! I feel very sorry for any guests that had small children and had to hear that blaring music I forgot to mention! There was a gap under our front door there were flying bugs all over our room and there were little larva in the bathroom all over the sink … disgusting! The deck was in such bad shape that my husband got a splinter and his foot from walking on it Such a shame, because the first time we stayed there, we loved it! Second time felt that it had gone downhill, but this time I can honestly say it is the worst hotel we have ever stayed in in FL

The pool and the sort walk to the beach was great! The unit we were in needed to be updated but it was very clean inside just needs upgrades. The front office staff was very helpful.

Bugs were crawling on us last night! Totally unacceptable. We booked a King balcony with Marina View room. I had to move all our stuff to a different room and move my kids at 11pm. Even in new room there were bugs. I was unable to sleep and now I have to fumigate my bags before bringing them home!

Property and staff are great, My complaint is I reserved a room with a private balcony and a marina view. What I got was a private balcony with a parking lot view. When I told the front desk and showed them my reservation reseat they told me the rooms with marina view were sold out and there was nothing they could do. This feels like a bait and switch scam so buyer beware. Call and confirm directly with the hotel before your arrival because apparently computer scheduling is faulty. I never even received a notice that my reserved room was not available. Very disappointed.

It's a little dated but pretty great over all. I don't appreciate the additional $34 dollars a day for parking that was sprung on us. But they were very kind and gave us passes to the water park.

Like the food like the location like the amenities however, I did not like being given a bill every morning for breakfast that I paid for in advance and turned coupons over to the wait staff. I don’t believe in errors that profit someone else I take those to be deliberate. Although this hotel is old , it is situated on the intercoastal waterway, so nice views. The restaurant attached to it was great, everything we ate was delicious. The staff was very helpful, met all our needs. We were very pleased.

Overall the stay was good. The floors were dirty when we arrived, but housekeeping cleaned them on our second day. The kitchen had limited items, and there was no crib available as stated. Housekeeping only came through on the day that we left before 10 a.m., so if you’re leaving after that time call the front desk to ask for cleaning.

The staff were not friendly or welcoming at all. There needs to be better customer service, especially for people of color. I was treated poorly and there wasn’t anyone that was courteous to be and my 2 daughters. I was pretty shocked. I paid 541 dollars for one night and the closet smelled stale and had a smoke order. The bath towels had hair on them. I was not impressed at all. The lobby and water park were the most appealing the rest rooms in the water park were not kept up and the condiments in the water parks snack shop were old and some rancid. I am a senior leader in the healthcare industry and wanted to ensure that honest feedback was provided for potential improvement in the future. Best regards, Melissa Vann

First time visiting
This place is a quiet area to get away from loud crowds. The stay was good, the one I picked had a kitchen with 1 bedroom 2 beds. Marina view, I did not know it wasn't a balcony. Its basically the walk way with 2 chairs and a table. No privacy. They do start at 8 am to clean and you will hear the cleaning cars rolling on the wood. Unfortunately they have no place to put away theirs cleaning cars and that was part of my view from my window. The check in was great and leaving as well. Prompts to them for being sweet. We did have breakfast and dinner at the Jimmy Guanas restaurant. For breakfast James was amazing and very attentive. He provided all I ask ,the food was delicious. James thank you for making our time spectacular. Dinner we had a very nice lady that I wish i knew her name, but she understood that we had to go to the concert and made sure we were all set fast. Food is delightful. Grilled chicken sandwiches are a must! Great prices. We didnt use the water park, looks good for parents. The place also has mini golf in the middle of the resort, rentals for bikes, stores and live music if you decide to drink outside at the bar. Great staff smiles all the time. Bar tender she was a bit serious. 1 of a million lol.. ice dispenser is on the first floor for my area. Near the elevator. Doesn't smell like swampy so its a beautiful view.

The property was starting to get in bad shape, especially the wooden walkways on the way to the rooms. Nails were sticking up from the boards that could cause someone to trip a barefoot person to tear their feet up.

Where do I begin? The photos were obviously photo-shopped. The hotel is stuck in time, say 1970s? We paid up to get breakfast included. When we went to breakfast we were told third-party apps were not recognized. I asked again, and then contacted Expedia who contacted the hotel. Finally our breakfast was included. Food was average. Not bad, just average. No housekeeping on the second day, and we left in the 3rd day.

We had a good time staff was great, but we noticed there was mold on the wood ceiling and had got into the drywall below, both in the loft ceiling and dormer ceiling below. As we were not staying long enough for it to effect us. but I verbally let them know at the desk. I have deficits physically, and the only toilet was upstairs and that was a pain, It wasn't stated when I booked.
