Great place, amazing location!
This is the perfect place to stay with a small group at Steamboat! The location is right next to the Knoll parking lot, which makes it a short walk from the slopes. The kitchen is well stocked, and the fireplace is nice. We would definitely stay here again.

Perfect Basecamp for Family of 4
Great property. Short walk to the gondola square and the steamboat busses. Our kids enjoyed the community hot tub and swimming pool. We loved it so much, we booked it for next year before we left.

Perfect spot
Couldn't imagine a better spot for our first family trip to Steamboat. Easy walk to the slopes, the free bus system, shops/restaurants. Hottub/pool in good shape. Well equipped and clean condo, had everything we needed. Great communication by host.

Clean Condo near the lifts
The condo was very clean and property owner very nice and responsive. My only caveat was it was a bit over priced based upon the location. We ended up walking more to get to the lifts than if we were to just rent near a bus stop. If I were to rent again, I would rent right near a bus stop a bit further away for a more price conscience condo as in the end it would have been an overall shorter walk to the lifts.

Scott, sorry to hear that you felt the condo was a long walk to the lifts. The transit center at the base of the mountain is literally right in front of the unit, maybe 100 yard walk. Pretty much any condo in town on the bus line you will have to walk to get to and most you will have a much further walk. You also lose the views of the ski mtn, walking distance to a variety of restaurants and much more that being close to the base offers. The other nice part besides spending time back and forth on the bus every day is you avoid the lines just to get on the bus, which at the end of the day can be quite long wait. Thanks for your thoughts, just wanted to highlight the unforeseen issues of riding the bus.

Overall we had a great time. The condo location was at the base of the mountain and across the street, easy walk to the lift. It was not overly spacious but it was very comfortable and clean. The owner responded to our needs almost instantly. I would definitely recommend.

The walk to the Steamboat Gondola lift line takes 6 minutes, and there are no stairwells from the condo to the lift - I call that ski in/out. Property is not new with fancy, modern decor. But everything about it works great. Ski locker right outside your door. Stocked kitchen so you can cook at home a couple of nights. Nooks to keep your ski boots, helmets, etc right inside the front door. A nice family/dining room with big table for your meals, board games, and stuff. Always a parking space if you go out to dinner. Hot tub & pool are well-maintained and just a few steps from your unit. And the hosts respond immediately. You should stay here.

So close to the slopes and great owners
We had an infant with us and adults swapping off baby duty to go ski. This location -- about a 5 minute walk to the gondola -- was perfect for that. Not quite ski in / ski out but a brisk walk in ski boots. We had a few hiccups with the stay but they were quickly and graciously handled by the owners. The bedrooms and bathrooms are a bit tight. But we were there to ski.

Location, Location, Location
This is a short walk to the bus downtown & the base / gondolas. Property was clean, beds comfy, plenty of towels (including hot tub) & basics (like shampoo l, laundry soap etc), the ski storage was convenient, close to pool / hot tub, washer and drier a must when skiing, great views of mountain & night skiing. Owners are responsive & easy to work with. Recommend for skiing trip for 3 people!!! (Could sleep more). Nothing glamorous but nicely done!!!

This was our second stay at this condo and we were still as satisfied as ever. Starting with the communication with the owner. He is very prompt to respond and provides you with all of the information that you need for your stay. The condo itself is perfect if you want easy access to the ski mountain. The walk is less than 5 minutes to the lifts. The condo is cozy and has everything you need for a comfortable vacation.

The condo was great! All beds and furnishings were very comfortable. It was well stocked with everything you’ll need. The location is terrific. Just drop down the path to the gondola area and the bus line to get you anywhere you need to go around town. A short walk or bus ride to the grocery store. Walking paths everywhere. Just awesome!

The condo was overall nice, well-decorated and in a good location. Communication before our stay was helpful and gave us the necessary details. Unfortunately, there was no hot water our first night or the following morning, so we all suffered through rather brief and uncomfortable cold showers. While the property owner tried to appease us by promising that he would refund us for the first night, we haven't heard anything in the week since our stay, and we haven't received any type of refund.

Not for seniors
Too many stairs to climb and no bathroom on the ground floor. We were all seniors. I wish their had been pictures of both floors to be able to see the lay out of the condo. The only picture I saw on line was of the kitchen. It was clean and Aaron was nice and helpful but we will probably go back to Trailhead Lodge next year. It would be good for Vrbo to recommend condos for seniors, catering to their needs.

I am very sorry to see this review and feel it is very unfair given the quality of the property and description in the VRBO listing. The listing clearly states that there are stairs in the unit and that the bedrooms are on a upper level and the kitchen and living room are on the lower level. Additionally upon your arrival you stated that you didn't realize there were stairs. I offered you a full refund and gave you the option to find other lodging that would better suit your senior guests, an offer in which you declined. We take pride in our properties and are very sorry to see this review especially after trying to do whatever it would take to make you and your guests comfortable whether it was in our unit or another.

Great little condo!
This was our second time staying at this location and we had another great trip. Location is great for being close to food and the gondola. Space is perfect for our little family and it has everything you need to make all your meals at home. Aaron was super responsive and a great host. I would totally rent this property again. Amazing condo next to the slopes
We loved our stay in this condo - it sits right across the street from the base of Steamboat resort with beautiful views of the slopes. We could walk to the gondolas in less than 5 minutes. The condo was clean, well appointed, and comfortable (especially the beds!). The owners were responsive and a pleasure to work with. We highly recommend this condo for a great ski get away!

This rental is everything you want and need when skiing in Steamboat. The location is ideal with a very easy walk that is well maintained to the Ski Village. The owner is very responsive to questions and requests. The condo is very clean and well maintained. The kitchen has everything you need for meal prep and serving a meal. Beds are comfortable with extra blankets, pillows and portable fans. Don’t hesitate to book this rental for your next trip to Steamboat.

Location is key!
Location, location, location! If location is important to you and you are not interested in riding a crowded bus with all your ski gear, stay here. We walked to the ski lifts. If you want to go grocery shopping or out to eat/shopping in town, the buses are less than 100 yards away and come every 15-20 minutes. My son and his girlfriend went back to the condo for lunch because it is that convenient. Condo was clean and well stocked with the basics. Beds were unbelievably comfortable. Kitchen had everything we needed. Washer and dryer were a nice convenience. Decor and fire place were very nice. The view of the mountain from the condo was spectacular. My college age children used the hot tub and enjoyed it. This condo would be good for tweens and teens also because they can come and go easily without much thought or concern; the area is safe. I don’t know what else I can rave about except the hosts who were very very responsive and accommodating. Texts were returned promptly. We asked if a Christmas tree could be provided since we were skiing over Christmas, and they happily set one up with lights and ornaments! Exceptional location, hosts and condo. Can’t go wrong staying here.

Great location directly across from Steamboat Mountain village
The condo had all the amenities we needed. It’s a smaller complex, so not overwhelming. All you need to do is cross the street and you are at the center of the ski resort village. Do you even have a view of the mountain from the master bedroom. Aaron was wonderful to work with. I would definitely go back during ski season.

A Wonderful Property!
This is a wonderful property, situated in super-convenient location extremely close to the mountain. We were in town for a wedding on top of the mountain and wanted a property close to the gondola. Aaron's condo is literally just steps away, but is also part of a development that almost has its own "neighborhood feel" to it, while providing easy access to shops, restaurants and the ski hill. Aaron was an excellent host and highly communicative -- thank you so much for giving us the opportunity to stay in your property! We hope to be back in the future!

Visiting Colorado in the summer
The property was at a great location. Walking distance to transportation and mountain. House was clean and very well equipped. Owners were readily available for any problems. We only had issues on how to operate tv, but that was user error 🤣🤣. Would highly recommend this house for skiing or summer!!!!
