We had 2 rooms booked, one room was fine but the TV was tiny the other room however was anything but, there was no hot water so we were moved to a second room with damp patches on the carpet and mould in the Bathroom and another tiny TV witch was almost impossible to watch they stay were lovely very helpful easy to approach and the breakfast was amazing

Bed was old and too hard. Shower head broken, floors dirty, bathroom very small. No A/C. Breakfast was quite good. University campus is very nice. Great fitness facilities.

The setting is amazing and lovely walks and just a pity the hotel wasn't as amazing! We arrived to a very dated building, told staff there was very little hot water for a bath but didn't correct this and breakfast was very average. We were looking forward to making use of the swimming pool but were told it wasn't possible so we won't be returning to this hotel but definitely will be visiting Stirling again.

The place is a solid 30mim walk to the Stirling Old Bridge. It’s a lovely walk so I didn’t mind. It’s also right next to a bus depot with bus’ running into town frequently , very easy to use the public transit system. So overall I really enjoyed it . Short walking distance to Wallace monument and to Wallace Pub. Hotel was clean and had a good breakfast and a nice lounge. Overall really enjoyed staying here.

I loved how quiet the area was. Facility is old and tired. First night the bed was terrible and barely slept at all, that being said I told the front desk and they had it replaced that day with a newer mattress.

Great value
Given the limited options, we won with Stirling Court Hotel. Fast check in, quiet, comfortable room and really pleasant staff. Nice breakfast too. Only negative was the shower didn't have enough water pressure to get a decent shower in the morning. We would stay again. Great value

People were great, but the room was a little dirty and tired really. And for me the worse thing was the WiFi, couldn't get enough to logon with my laptop, had to go into town to get wifi

Disappointed!
Room was a bit outdated, needs refurbishing! Shower was powerful! A staff member knocked on my door to ask me to turn tv down as next door had complained, but it was not loud! I did not complain when they were making a noise! Was not happy! The pool is not in the hotel but a short walk away!

The property is unique in that it is situated in the grounds of the University. It was comfortable, friendly, warm, food was great, staff were attentive, super decor andcfurniture. We loved it all.

Good value for money
This is great value for money hotel. Good location, food was very tasty and reasonably priced. Room was clean and comfortable, mattress was a little hard and pillows a little flat for my liking. Staff were very helpful and professional with great service.

We stayed here for a family holiday. Other than the fact that it a slightly far from the main area everything about this place is great. They had amazing breakfast and there are quite a few restaurants near this hotel. We had a comfortable stay!

Clean and neat but in need of a renovation
Hotel is in need of a renovation. Rooms were clean and neat but all quite old furnishings, tired beds and pillows. Bathroom didn't even have an exhaust fan, and the ceiling was peeling. Condition is generally ok, but definitely not modern. Buffet breakfast not bad, with someone serving you. Coffee was filtered coffee. Breakfast area and dinner area are also in need of a renovation. Location is great for the University of Sterling and quite close to the Wallance Monument, but far away from anything else. Good direct bus service into the city however.
