'We came to Bayfield purposefully after the AppleFest to avoid some of the crushing crowds. We appreciated the text that notified us of an early check-in opportunity but we had some stops on the road, so didn’t get there in time to take advantage of that. 'It would have been nice to have two chairs in the room. One sitting on the floor or bed and one on the chair was cumbersome. And as we do not have cable at home, directions on how the Direct TV works would have been helpful.'

'Such a lovely, relaxing place that was a perfect launching pad for adventures in the Bayfield region. The sunroom was a wonderful place to read on a rainy morning and the soaker tub was an added surprise. The location was perfect, walkable to all restaurants and shops and fabulous lake views. 'The location of the property is perfect; it's easy walking distance to the marina and all the downtown restaurants. I've stayed here multiple times, it's one of my go-to's. 'We stayed here last July for my 40th as we wanted to be close to Madeline Island, but not camp. The main drawback was the list of restrictions. The red tape is I’m sure to avoid party goers, but it was a little bit of a turn off. Fortunately I asked the owners if it was ok to have my parents over for a fire abiding by the time limits posted and they ok’d it. Outside of that it was a great little place for my husband and I and our two kids (aged 1.5 and 10) to have dinner, sleep, have a camp fire...
