'The location of this property is perfect! It was fairly central to all we wanted to see on Skye. The view is great and it is a short hike to a beach which was a great was to spend the mornings. The lodge was cery comfortable and made us feel at home.'

'Had a lovely stay in Shiskine! The only thing I worried about was the proximity to the road but so few cars drove by, especially at night, that it is no problem at all. Peaceful and quiet. The tiny house/pod is just as promised in the pictures. I had a fantastic time exploring the surroundings of the lighthouse and of course all the beaches nearby. The beach below the property was basically a private one (in October), as I only saw a couple of other people once.'

'This property was our favorite one on the trip. The beach was so close and the rooms nice and large. Having two bathrooms suited us perfectly and having a wash basin in each bedroom was incredibly convenient. Parking was right in front of the door. The kitchen even had sugar and some other items that we did not have to get. The traditional style was very homey. I would stay here again if in this area on a return visit.'

'We had a wonderful week in Poolewe. The house provides everything you need, the kitchen is very well equipped. WLAN was perfect for us and our host Hannah was really nice and friendly. If you look for some quiet days in a wonderful location, I can absolutely recommend this house.'

'Great place. Views are fantastic.Cottage was very comfortable, clean and good size for 5 of us. A little out of the way of Gairloch @17min drive but no big deal as we were travelling around the area each day. Recommended.'

'The pictures that accompany this listing do not begin to describe the stunning beauty of this place. The ocean and the surrounding mountains are breath-taking! 'We enjoyed our stay in this area, there is so much to do! Walking along the beaches, making a boattrip, visiting the Gairloch museum (surprisingly beautiful). We could recommend the Achtercairn Archeology Trail, the description of this walk is available in the museum.'

'The building is beautiful, but the old building does come with some outdated rooms. Room wasn’t entirely clean either. Some staff were really nice (some of the waiters), but some others not so much. Dinner they serve is really inexpensive for what you get, so that’s a plus. Even though some shortcomings, I would stay again (and maybe pay for sea view).'

"At first look, hotel looks great ,it lays in an beautiful area. But when you get in reality hits you, these owners don’t want to run this hotel anymore. That how they act the room is Oké, for one night, to stay couple days I wouldn’t recommend it. Bathroom is like the reviews say, so outdated you only have a Bath with a Handshower. But the worst thing for us was the dinner. You had to pre order what was on the menu, that isn’t that bad. But the dinnertime was between 6:00-7:00 pm. And everyone got the starter and main meal in that time.. the only thing you could hear was the microwave out of the kitchen. Hard to miss, food tasted as so, morning breakfast was oké, everything had to preordered. But ther wher No Gluten-free things at all. We wouldn’t stay here again This is our worst hotel, in our NC500 Trip "
