It’s located in a great spot on the north shore with only a short drive in either direction to some great secluded beaches, restaurants, and activities. 'As others have said the building is under renovation. Our first morning there was a Friday and the crew showed up but it was raining too hard. Then the weekend so we did not have work going on while we there. We did have scaffolding in front but it didn't spoil the view or our time on the lanai. Nice rooms and surroundings but heavily overpriced
"Heavily overpriced for the quality you get (on food and beverages). Also paying for beach chairs etc. Hotel is nice and we enjoyed the installation but food and beverages were very basic while all charged on premium rates. Also very high fees to rent beach equipment which in my point of view is outrageous. We have much better experiences in Hawaii concerning that so definitively something to improve. No problem to pay a price but you expect something in return which we didn't feel at all. "
