Novotel definitely needs a little update! The location saves them at least! The buffet breakfast was very enjoyable also. BUT We had the king supreme room with balcony which said it slept 4 but a pull out sofa bed with a hard spring worn out mattress was very disappointing for the money we paid. I hope Novotels interior designer never is aloud to decorate ever again as the red looking blood splashed curtains were so terrible and the microwave was from the 1980s I think, and there were no tea towels to even wash up glasses etc! Very unimpressive when we paid more per night for a stay there then some of the beautiful beachfront air bnbs along our travels. Staff were lovely!!

Stayed at the Novatel for a concert. Was convenient, easy walk to the stadium, rooms clean and parking was easy. It was a bit busy after the concert and a line for the lifts, but the line went really quickly.

Its a hotel at olympic park. If thats what you need, itll do the trick. But at the end of the day, they don't care cause someone will pay it. Plus side, they don't care. Mould in bathroom, warped floors, broken window and curtains. Parking is a maze. Really lovely staff though, easy check in and out. Was it worth not having to be on a trains with strangers after seeing a gig? *Almost. If I wasn't so tired driving there and back in roughly 12 hours, no - but damn it, someone will pay it.

The interior of the room was very dated and the bath/shower was so dangerous to get in and out of as there was no step and it was very high step in, especially in a wet area and even worse for someone like me who had just had stomach surgery.

We stayed at the Novotel Olympic Park for 1 night when attending a concert at Qudos. The hotel was in a great location within walking distance to the venue and to the train station. The property is in a reasonable standard but is starting to look a little bit dated. Our room was a good size however the bathroom wasn't really great i.e. the shower nozzle kept falling down.

While the foyer was lovely, the floor we stayed on seen much better days (old carpet, paint missing and emergency doors held open with towels). In the room, the beds sagged and there was an obvious and sizeable patch near the bed headboard that was covered in a film of dust. It obviously had not been vacuumed in some time. While the staff were excellent, I paid more so that my family could stay at the Novotel rather than the Ibis next door. Had I known the property quality I would have booked at the ibis instead.

The room was dusty. For example..thick dust around the light switch in the bathroom and around the door frame of entrance. Weird old smell in the hallway. It was weird having a shared facilities in the pullman hotel opposite from novotel for additional cost. Also, that ibis is connected to novotel. Just a weird experience. The sprinkler and ventilator/ aircon had cobwebs. And the shower water gets all over the as the shower door has a small gap for water to get out.

Stayed overnight for a concert at Giants Stadium, very convenient to the location. Luckily was able to get a parking spot on site, car park very tight. Was able to check in a little earlier which was great.

Nice but where are the staff?
Hotel was clean and comfortable but finding staff was like finding a ghost. Check-in took nearly an hour waiting in line. We decided to get room service but the QR code wasn't working. We called room service to get a menu but the phone rang out several times. Called Reception and it was answered on the 4th thime it rang out and a menu was sent up to the room. Tried to order but room service did not answer the phone - tried for 30 mins continually but no answer. We ran out of time eventually and had to get something unhealthy from outside. Also the room curtains looked like a massacre had happened there!! Not to my taste. Disappointed in the service for this style of hotel

Over priced for what you get, if it wasn’t in a convenient location it would be worth half what they charge. 10mins drive, half the price and you could stay at Rydges Parramatta or Parkroyal.

Overall a pleasant stay, but there were a few issues. The sheets on our beds weren't fitted properly, a coat hanger was missing from the wardrobe and the shower had no shower gel supplied (empty bottle). We weren't told how to connect to the wi-fi and ended up asking reception about it ourselves, then asked about replacing the coat hanger missing from our room. Was told they'll put a request in to replace it, but it never came. The last time we stayed here, everything was well maintained so very disappointed that wasn't the case this time.

We decided to have continental breakfast but disappointed, no white sugar, no vegemite, toaster only cooked one side and paid $30 per person. Rooms were clean and comfortable but walk ways outside our room were not vacuumed our entire stay, paid extra for balcony suite and had a little spot just enough for 2 seats, never used the space
