Een prima hotel naar mijn idee, betaalbaar en vriendelijk personeel. Verzorgd ontbijt! Kan het iedereen aanbevelen. Veel bezienswaardigheden op loopafstand, zoals het Opera House (20 min.) of Darling Harbour. Met de GetYourGuide app makkelijk boekingen doen in het Nederlands.

It’s a decent hotel right in the heart of Sydney. It’s reasonably close to all the tourist spots, and downtown. However saying it’s a four star hotel is a bit much. It’s a decent three star hotel, with unfriendly staff, no restaurant or dining options, and a somewhat noisy hotel. Not terrible, not great, just an average three star hotel.

We have stayed at the boulevard a couple of times over the years. We find it a very convenient location with transport right outside the front of the hotel. The staff were friendly and very helpful in any requests we had. The room was also very clean, and the bed was super comfy. It hasn’t changed much over the years so it is starting to look a little dated, but other than that, nothing but good things to say about this place. There are also some amazing little eateries and a cool little pub that we discovered on the back streets which are worth checking out. Highly recommend those. I wouldn't hesitate in recommending this hotel to anyone and if we return to Sydney we wouldn’t think of staying anywhere else.

Our only issues were: Room keys kept not working each day. The cost of breakfast was extremely high for someone who normally has light breakfasts.

We loved our stay at the Sydney Boulevard Hotel! The staff were lovely and the facilities great, the location was an easy walk away from the CBD - But the highlight was our room. It had the most magnificent view over Sydney and the harbour and the room was really well sized.

We actually did not know just how easy it was to get to everything till we arrived, so we're so happy when we discovered this. The hotel itself was great, rooms comfy and very pleasant service. Food places all around and spitting distance to a Metro supermarket, so super handy. Easy to get to from the airport via PT, and we either walked to where we wanted to be, or caught buses, again a super easy exercise. Will definitely stay again.

Great Location and Service
The front desk service was excellent with an early check in and recommendations for dinner and breakfast. There were several nice restaurants within easy walking distance and it was also an easy walk to the harbor. Our room was spacious and clean and the view of the harbor was great. Although we did not get our room cleaned as we were only there three nights, it was no problem getting clean towels and coffee.

A great stay
Located away from the madness of inner Sydney but close enough to walk to all. Kings Cross and Museum train stations are easy to walk to. People who work at this hotel are always professional and nice.

I like that it is walking distance to downtown Sydney but far away enough from the busy streets

Outdated hotel with great potential
Good, but not great. Boulevard felt like an outdated great hotel. Room itself was rennovated to look and feel quite nice, but small details made it feel lower quality (one spotlight dark, wallpaper ripping off a bit from the edge here and there, power outlets loose on the wall etc.). Common areas like hallways were more outdated and worse condition than the rooms. Not horrible, but not as good as you might think when going to hotel with a rating that good. Staff was helpful and nice, but cleaning staff barely understood english and had to go to the reception when asking something considering the cleaning. The views from deluxe room were as phenomenal as expected by the photos and location is great, but that's about it when it comes to meeting the expectations. Sun terrace area was bare and no furniture. So all in all a pretty good hotel but which felt was great 20 years ago but has now seen it's best days and needs some proper renovation to actually be a 4 star hotel with over 8 rating.

Location Shines, but Aging Dim the Experience
My stay at the Sydney Boulevard was a mixed bag. Sure, the location was fantastic, but as soon as I stepped through the door, I felt like I'd stepped back in time. It was barely past sunrise when I dragged my suitcase up to the front desk, bleary eyed and hoping to leave my bags and grab some coffee. But nope, not at the Sydney Boulevard. They slapped me with a full day's charge for the "early check-in," While the hotel does offer parking, it's not free, and this information should be clearly communicated on hotels.com to avoid any surprises for guests. Now, the room itself: spacious, sure, but with all the charm of a 1980s office building. I get it, things get old: carpets wear, paint fades, grout gets grimy. But the Sydney Boulevard seemed to be clinging to its faded grandeur instead of giving the place a much-needed refresh. And for the price I paid, I expected a bit more TLC. The absence of USB charging ports in the room was a noticeable inconvenience, especially in this digital age where most travelers rely on such amenities. The bathroom, in particular, appeared old, with only one functioning mirror light and visible stains in the bathroom stall. What disappointed me most was the apparent lack of investment in fixing these issues. In conclusion, while the Hotel has a great location, it falls short in terms of maintaining a modern and well-kept environment.
