Definitely not a 4 star priority, 3 at best. Super comfortable beds, hotel has been updated, but needs more. Breakfast was terrible at the restaurant. Very nice staff!

Besides Stephanie (who is amazing, kind, and friendly), staff is not very helpful and friendly. Our room was dirty and never cleaned during the three nights we spent there. Rooms are not great for the price you pay.

Great place to stay while visiting Syracuse University. The woman at checkin when I arrived (10 pm on 5/7/24) was very friendly and welcoming.

Poor maintenance of rooms, broken toilets and poor maintenance services. They didn’t change blankets never during our stay and towels just upon request. Building looks abandoned.

Noisy guests everywhere. Woken up at 1am, 4am(!) and 4:30am (!!) by seperate people. The hotel is in an area of students who obviously stay there too and it makes it not a place for a quiet rest. Inside it’s tatty dated and not pleasant. The bed was a strange spring bed and someone hadn’t flushed the toilet on my arrival in the room. Never again.

The first room was humid and warm with no ability to control the temperature, I asked for a technician to look into the hvac and waited 3 hours with no response after two calls. I finally went to the front desk and asked for another room only to find the exact same temperature conditions. The thermostat in the rooms is just for looks it does not control room temp. Room was also dirty and the towel bar fell off the wall when I removed a towel. If you like to control the temp in your room don't stay here.

Upgraded to a suite and did receive $20 voucher for a meal. Wish the parking were free. They only charged $10/day, but free parking is always a plus.

Booked a certain room since my party would have 3 people got there and they had us in a room that was to small and not what i had booked. Went to the front desk and told us they were sold out of the room i had booked. They had put us in a room the was similar to the one i had bo ok ked just a little smaller..

The microwave did not work. The coffee machine did not work, and the issue was not addressed when we mentioned it. The bed was very confortable, the sofa was not.

The room smelled like dirty, wet towels. The carpets were wet…not damp. Wet. The tub drain was plugged. The bathroom smelled very strongly of urine. The air/heat system was broken and it was 76 degrees in our room. There were glass toppers on the dresser and night stand. Something unidentifiable was spilled under the glass of the night stand, and the dresser glass was chipped on the corner. It was very sharp. When I checked out and told the woman at the front desk, she asked if we needed any coffee. I’ve never left a negative review before, but hopefully this will help others. Please stay somewhere else!

Our room was dirty prints on walls…crumbs on floors. They addressed it and we felt better. I went to get a glass in the kitchen and a glass in the cabinet had lipstick on the glass! Stephanie the manager took care of us immediately and was amazing. However the place is beat up and pretty sad

Hi Laura Patricia, thank you for staying with us. I am sorry that your room was not in an acceptable state when you entered, though I am glad that my housekeepers resolved the issue quickly. However, it should have been ready from the start. I know we already talked about the glass you found in the cabinet - I can't imagine who would use a glass and then put it back without washing it! - but I am very happy to see that you appreciated the care I put into a resolution for you. We're definitely aware that our building needs some updating, and we're working hard to make improvements day by day! I hope you'll come back again so we can host you in a more comfortable environment.

We arrived almost 2 hours after check in time and were told our room was not ready. Apparently they were out of clean towels. I asked if we could just have our room as we wanted to change and freshen up before the show we were in town for was set to begin. We were told management had told them they could not give out rooms until there were towels. We were given a “dirty” room to use so we could change and relax - difficult in a dirty room as we didn’t know who had previously been in the room or what had been used or not. We did get to change. They arranged for the shuttle to drop us off where we needed to go which was nice. Upon returning to the hotel after the show, about 1020-1030pm, I had to check in. We were given a room and off we went. Finally got to our room and set our stuff down. We were tired and just wanted to crash so we immediately started getting ready for bed. I went to use the bathroom and, when flushing, the toilet made a “clunk” noise. I tried again, same thing. Come to find out, there was no water in the tank. I called the front desk to question this. Just as I was talking to the lady, my husband was looking around and found the water to the toilet had been turned off. Immediately began filling up and overflowing - water flooded the bathroom and our room. We decided to cut our losses and drive home. Due to the hardships and issues, we were given a full refund. Staff was great. Facilities…not so much :/

I'm not quite sure why we would put you in a dirty room instead of one with no towels, as certainly one that was clean would have been the better option. I will go over this situation with my front office team so we can make better choices in the future, and I am happy to say that we have taken steps to ensure that towels are available much earlier in the day for our guests' convenience.I have forwarded your review to our engineering team to make sure that we have resolved the toilet issue in the room. Arrived at 815, restaurant closes at 9 the woman refused to take my family of three because she was closing at 830. I said but it states you close at 9. She yelled at me that she had been there since 730. We then went to our room. The room was ok no frills. In the morning took my shower to discover the drain was slow, so I showered with water to my ankles and then we only had two towels for a suite with two rooms. We had to call for towels. My kiddo is going to Syracuse in the fall - we will not be staying here in the future and I don’t recommend anyone else stay here either if you want to feel refreshed in the morning after traveling the previous day for hours!!!!

Unfortunately, I hope my families bad experience was a one of a kind. The hotel room was dirty including: end tables/tables, tv stand, cups. There were quite a few wall patches (not done by a professional.) The bathroom towel rack was broken as well as the shower handle (for the water.) The worst part was the constant smell of weed that would not go away. I am not saying the smell of weed would lead to a complaint but it was so bad it impacted my daughter’s asthma. Nice staff is my only compliment.

Room had a thermostat but found out none of them worked when our room was 72 degrees and no way to cool it off. Had to move to another room and appreciated the issue could be resolved with a room change. Staff were excellent and attentive at the desk. Both rooms could use some TLC as the toilet paper holder was dangling from the wall and the room’s door barely closed. Overall the stay was average but since it’s the best location to the university we will continue to stay there.

Nice facility, only thing we lacked and missed, we really could have used a small fridge for water. If we had planned to be there longer, we would have needed a microwave. Those teo items to me should be standard Also 2 people in room but only one hand towel and 1 washclothe?

I certainly understand the desire for a fridge and microwave in the room; I will pass along your feedback in the hopes that we can provide those essential amenities in more rooms in the future. We do have a microwave accessible in our lobby 24/7, and our staff are always happy to store cold items for our guests, should they not have the option to do so themselves. The towel situation seems like an oversight, however; I apologize for the inconvenience, and I'll share that with housekeeping so we can make sure we have the appropriate number of amenities in every room at check-in!
