We stayed in the apartment with the balcony, and it was amazing! The balcony was huge, with a good view (slightly obscured by a palm tree), and the beds were super comfortable. The apartment had beautiful decor, a washing machine/drier, kitchen, and two bathrooms, with fancy toiletries. The hotel itself was close by, and has a pool and gym, which we didn't use because it was too cold for the pool and the treadmill was self-powered (also, gym didn't open til 9). But it was nice to have those amenities available as well. The breakfast is a little pricy (25 Euro), but very nice, with many options, and the view from the restaurant is lovely.

Absolutely LOVED this hotel. We had the most amazing stay and the staff and everyone there went out of their way to make sure we enjoyed ourselves. incredible- loved it- did not want to leave - we will be back.

The host is friendly and responsive. The property is perfect - spacious, clean, convenient and it was a perfect home base for our family visit to Sicily. I rarely review properties after a stay, but this comment was warranted. You will not be disappointed.

Exciting upgrade
I didn't stay at the actual hotel as there was some problem. Instead I was upgraded, with much communication in advance to make sure I would be happy, to a lovely apartment with a private terrace overlooking the sea. This means I can't really rank the hotel as I was completely off-site, but it was a lovely experience and there was still housekeeping and amenities at the apartment.

Loved this Hotel!
Loved staying here for 3 nights on our 2 week trip in Sicily. One of our favorite hotels of our stay. Service was outstanding, location was great with an easy walk to town a few blocks away. The restaurant was fabulous and the breakfast was the best one we experienced while in Sicily. The room was very comfortable.

Hotel com muita classe, mas para acessar a suite junior que eu havia reservado é preciso enfrentar muitas escadas. O serviço foi excelente, o quarto e o banheiro são espaçosos e muito bem decorados. Café da manhã excelente, com uma vista maravilhosa.

Among many things we liked over our well-long stay at Villa Carlotta, we really appreciated the daily transport to and from the beach (Carabella). Also the rooftop restaurant with beautiful views of the sea was excellent!

We stayed in the Two Bedroom Villa/Apartment 4, which was extremely spacious and accommodating. The staff was extremely helpful and attentive and when we did have a minor issue, they more than made up for it. The hotel is beautifully decorated and in a very central, yet quiet location. The view was unbeatable and I can’t wait to return! 5 stars!

Taormina magica, hotel charmissimo
Non ci sono parole per descrivere Taormina, dovete andarci e perdervi nelle sue stradine. Purtroppo abbiamo soggiornato presso Villa Carlotta solo 1 notte. Assolutamente di charme, perfetto rapporto dimensione/qualita' in ogni dettaglio, dalla palestra al ristorante con terrazza vista mozzafiato, all' arredamento delle stanze. Colazione di ottima qualita', come pure il ristorante presso cui abbiamo cenato. La signora alla reception e' gentilissima, e ciliegina ci hanno lasciato la suite nonostante il mio downgrade causa impossibilita' di viaggiare di mia figlia. Vale assolutamente il meritato punteggio.

We selected Villa Carlotta based on the high rating and favorable reviews. We stayed in one of the hotel’s apartments: coffee cups and silverware dirty, washer/drier moldy. “Shabby chic” overall condition, tasteful interior decor. Large roof terrace with great views, but not well maintained, felt unused and abandoned. Staff uncreative with remedying cleanliness situation despite being well tipped upon arrival. Rather than comping return airport transfer or a night’s stay, €20 breakfast was comped, plus a bottle of wine upon departure. We don’t drink, so this was a presumptuous and ultimately irrelevant gesture. The hotel rating is not commensurate with the property’s condition and the staff lacks experience with skillful troubleshooting.

Dear Stefano, thank you for your review. Actually all your comments are non sense. Since you arrived "because of Covid" you asked not to clean your apartment as well as your friend so after 4 days of wind, little desert rain, it wasn't totally clean. I would like not to add anything else for fairplay, just one thing: our Hotel is ranked 9,8 out of 10, so who is the problem? Arrivederci, Mr. A. Quartucci
