Hi Sherry You were successful in booking a 1 night reservation with EXPEDIA that you said you were " trying" to book. We have the reservation # from Expedia. We don't know who would have sent you a message ( we never saw it) saying you needed to book longer, we don't require multiple night bookings. Expedia did charge your credit card when you made the reservation with them and there was no indication of a cancellation. Your room was held for you on the date of the reservation per the valid booking in EXPEDIA.
