'Fantastic location. Easy walk to waterfront and city attractions. Friendly, helpful staff. Room quiet despite being on a busy thoroughfare. Airport Skybus stops just out the front. Would have loved a coffee machine. Highly recommend for anyone visiting Hobart.'

'Het motel is verrassend... een in Engels baksteen opgetrokken gebouw. Direct aan doorgaande weg in Hobart gelegen maar omdat het in een binnnhof is gelegen, toch rustig. Kamers voldoen aan alle eisen. Alleen het bed had z'n best tijd gehad... het kraakte bij elke beweging zodat je niet goed de slaap kon vatten. Vriendelijke en behulpzame ontvangst met uitleg van hoe naar de City en het havenkwartier te komen. Dat bleek een wandeling te zijn van ongeveer een kwartier... Goed te doen....

'Prima accommodatie, ook na late aankomst is het goed en heel prettig geregeld. Parkeren totaal geen probleem. Ligging is heel rustig maar behalve de prachtige golfbaan, is er niets in de directe omgeving, behalve een casino dan. '

'The room was fantastic, however the office hours are only from 9.30am to 5.00pm. I arrived at 5.30 and had no idea where the parking was. The TV in my room didn’t work. The one in the bedroom worked but not the lounge. No one there to check out at 9.00am this morning.'

'We really loved the stay in Highlander Cottages. There are more cottages at this site, but it felt like we were staying alone in the forest. Although wooden constructions the quality was high, a kitchen block, small living room, dining table, comfortable beds fireplace and modern bath room. We would definitely return. '

'Great location, rooms are modern and well equipped. Only thing that was a slight minus is the cleaning staff laughing and chatting loudly outside the bedrooms in the morning when we were trying to sleep.'

'Excellent location with parking. Huge apartment with well equipped kitchen. However there was no internet and the front office staff did nothing to fix it, probably not able to do anything about it. We were counting on it after a week spent traveling in nature parks. Only one heater for the whole place. Quite bland decoration overall, very functional. No body wash product in bathroom. Good housekeeping.'

'On first appearance it seems like they are upgrading the front of the motel. I believe it was very messy when they bought it and it is still a work in progress. The rooms are immaculate. The view took me straight to our private balcony. Absolutely stunning view straight across the lake to the sea. I’d heard some people caught a kg of prawns in the lake in front of us the day before. The King size bed was the most comfortable bed we’d slept on in our whole trip. Extras pillows if we wanted....
