I apologize, but because this is a condo hotel and most people rarely use the kitchen other than the coffee maker and microwave. That said, if you needed any cooking item, more trash bags, etc you could have called the front desk or called us, RE Vacations and we would have sent to the unit what you needed. We are here to help make your stay wonderful!! The cafe will be opening shortly, as per your recommendation, we have removed mention of it from the listing, to avoid future confusion.

First we would like to apologize for the suite you were given. It has been removed from the hotel program until everything has been fixed. We offered to move you into a different suite immediately but you refused to move. Frankly, if you would have let us move you to a different unit I know you would have been happy. This is a wonderful resort!!

So glad that you enjoyed your stay!! Next time please report any issues in the unit. We will take care of them right away or move you into another unit. Regarding smoking, it is only permitted outdoors. Absolutely NO smoking inside the elevators.

That is so strange because the resort manager is usually very responsive. We have been wholesaling for Ocean Pointe for almost 10 years. They know us very well and always treat our guests extra special. I wish you would have contacted us immediately, we would have had you moved to another suite.

The balcony was being repaired during your stay. It is now available for use once again! So glad you enjoyed your stay and are planning on coming back!!

We are so glad that you think Ocean Pointe is a great resort!! I am sorry about the cleaning issue, we have spoken to the housekeeping manager about this incident and she has reprimanded the person who cleaned the unit. Please note that we do not have any record of you requesting in a queen bed in the 2nd room. That said, if you wanted a queen bed then I'm sure that the front desk would have moved to a room with a queen bed. The staff on property is extremely friendly and helpful

Hi Jolene - Like you said this is a super nice resort and any concerns that you had with the suite, are easily resolved with a quick phone call to the front desk, just like at a hotel. They will bring you towels or can opener, etc. And if you do not like the suite assigned to you, then you can ask them to switch you elsewhere. What could be easier? It is true that these suites do not come with much in terms of supplies, like salt, pepper, laundry detergent. But those may be easily purchased at the near by grocery store. Hi Andrea - Ocean Pointe is perfectly located on the ocean side and near many restaurants and activities. And for your next visit, if you need towels or new pillows just call the front desk and they will be delivered to your door. The units are fumigated monthly but sometimes one sneaks in. Hi Ashely - I have spoken to the manager at Ocean Pointe and they have not had a bed bug issue in this unit or in any other unit. You could have been bitten by no-see-ums which are commonly found on the beach. The best way to avoid no-see-um bits is with mosquito repellent. And regarding a late checkout we always accommodate our guests when possible. This is a spectacular resort and as you can see by our many 5-star reviews everyone love it!! Sincerely, RE Vacations

For future reference, the variation in the bedding configuration in the second bedroom (2 bedroom suites only) where some of our suites have two twin beds and some have one queen bed.
