Fantastic!!!! Had a wonderful time. The hotel is perfectly located for easy access to Main Street or Gondola. The decor and the rooms are VERY nice and currant plus CLEAN!!! The staff is awesome, welcoming, feel at home atmosphere! Definitely on our list of Favorite places to stay

Excellent small hotel at the base of the gondola. Staff was excellent and dog friendly. Room was amazing and the breakfast was fantastic. I would definitely stay there again.

The location (our room was only about 30 feet from the entrance to the town gondola). The amenities we scant for the price. The ski boot dryer and lockers were handy, located appropriately. The breakfasts were excellent; the staff were friendly; except for the female maitre'd who was a bit gruff when questioning why we were sitting by the fireplace during the time at which the restaurant guest began arriving.

Dean was great right from the start. Room was comfortable, almost a european feel. great location and the Cosmo restaurant downstairs is the best in telluride. very enjoyable...thx columbia team and meagan from Cosmos...and the colors were fantastic..

Nice boutique style hotel
This is a lovely boutique style hotel in downtown Telluride. Dean at the front desk was very welcoming and shared some local info with us. Our room was comfortable and had nice big windows with a small balcony. The bathroom was spacious and the towels were very soft. Breakfast was room service and we chose our options the day before. The food was great. Our only complaint would be that the parking at the hotel is very limited and $35 per night on top of a high nightly cost with taxes. I would expect parking to be included in the nightly cost as the vehicle was literally pulled a just few feet ahead and parked. So be aware of an extra cost to your nightly stay unless you want to go park elsewhere.

We are sorry that you found the parking fee to be high, but our staff works diligently to manage a small parking area that is highly trafficked, and we must make sure that this lot is managed properly. We had an absolutely gorgeous view from our room. We visited during early phase of re-opening so restaurant was not open yet but they gave you a breakfast menu to select from each day for delivery to room the next morning at your requested time. Breakfast was excellent. Convenient location to shops and restaurants.

Everyone at the hotel was helpful in every question we had for then. Breakfast was satisfying and good coffee too. Bed was comfy and room taken care of everyday. Shoutout to Mike at breakfast, always helpful.

Nice hotel close to the gondola
Nice little hotel very conveniently located across the street from the gondola taking you up the mountain to the Mountain village. Its ski (bike) storage made it so easy - just about as close to a ski-in/ski-out lodge as you can get while still being in town. It has a nice restaurant and offers a great breakfast spread to make you ready for a long day on the slopes. It's located a short walk from any number of other good restaurants, shops and bakeries. We'd definitively stay here again if we return for more skiing in Telluride.

Wonderful hotel in Telluride
This is the best place to stay in telluride. The location can’t be beat in terms of ease of access to the mountain. The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. The hotel restaurant Cosmo is fantastic. Will always stay here in the future

Great hotel in Telluride!
Great location right next to the gondola! We arrived early but the gal at the front desk (blanking on her name) had our room cleaned quickly so we could get into it early. She explained that they were starting the shoulder season so we should take the Gondola the day we arrived since it would be closed the next day! So glad we did! We had drinks and dessert at the bar restaurant that night and the beignets were fabulous! Breakfast (included) was wonderful and had lots of options. Kate who was running the front desk for most of our stay was so friendly and so helpful! Since we only had one day in town, she suggested both Bridal Veil Falls and Bear Creek Falls. On our second night, we were having problems finding a good place for dinner (due to shoulder season closures) and Kate recommended 221 South Oak. It was a great restaurant around the corner from the hotel and it was the best meal we had on our vacation. I am so glad that I found and booked the Hotel Columbia. I liked being in a smaller hotel and felt that we had much more personal service because of it. We will be back the next time we come to Telluride!!!

Quaint location that's close to the gondola.
Lots of old charm with this building. It has great access to the gondola so you can get to Mountain Village, all the great outdoor trails, and the spectacular views with ease. The staff are really helpful. The only concern was with the quality of the buffet breakfast that came with our rate. The hash browns were dry and unpleasant.

The staff was excellent and very helpful with our request for early check in and our late check out. The attached restaurant was excellent. The ski storage room was clean and had room to get ready to ski. The one down side was the room was hot and we needed to keep the windows open at night to cool off. We then heard the noise of the people getting off the gondola late at night.

Wonderful stay. I have been to Telluride many times. This is the first time in Hotel Columbia. It is a wonderful place with one of the best restaurants in Telluride right down stairs. It is also right next to the Gondola, so great place to stay if you want to stay in town and have easy access to the mountain for hiking, biking, or skiing in winter
