'We loved staying at the property. It has such a great view and the sun room was perfect for starting and ending our day in to watch the sun rise and set. The kitchen has everything we could've needed and the layout of the house was perfect for our little get together.'

The decor in unit is welcoming and sufficient for all of us. Furniture is a bit worn. Would be great to have a bigger bed in master and more pillows available. I called in two maintenance issues and property manager was extremely responsive'

'Stayed here with 4 adults and 2 toddlers to attend the cider festival in Hood River. The house was very clean and spacious, lots of parking outside. Location was quiet and convenient to walk to several restaurants. We had a great stay and wouldn’t hesitate to book again. Be prepared to pay a $3.50 toll each way to cross the bridge to Hood River.'

'This is our second time staying at Baernhaus- it has become our go-to place to stay in Government Camp. Clean, sleek, modern but very cozy. Perfect location- short 1 block walk to Govy, yet completely private setting, elevated in the trees. Nice separation of bedrooms from common areas. Bedroom arrangement better suited for families but workable for couples. Definitely staying here again!'

'Loved our time here. Big, comfortable, clean house. The views of the Columbia River Gorge and Mt. Hood are spectacular. White Salmon is a pretty little town, and the bigger, fun town of Hood River is just over the bridge.'

Felt like we had everything we needed and more. Would love to stay there again. Only thing that would make it even better is a hot tub, but they would just be the cherry on top.'

'House was very nice with great amenities. Views were great. The house is on a well and so copper/minerals in the water so you do not want to drink it. Bring your own water. If you have an elderly person with you be cautious with about 8 steps that go down to walkway and then 4-5 back into the house.'

'I wish we would have had a bake-off with the 4 ovens, but instead enjoyed the town of Hood River and our conference. The location was great and this house was welcoming and upscale. It was perfect for a retreat.'

'Amazing stay close to hikes and wildflowers! Loved that we could hike the Mosier Plateau trail and walk to Mo Co for beers. Short drive to Hood River. Beautiful views for relaxing! Highway traffic is loud but with windows closed not noticeable. Perhaps bring ear plugs if you are a light sleeper. My biggest note would be the WiFi is not good - I planned to work from home and was not able to.'
