The cottage was the perfect size, decor was clean and comfortable. Cottage chic doesn’t begin to describe it. The location was so convenient to downtown and walking along the bay. A wonderful stay and we hope to return!'

'Dauphin pod was a great dog friendly place to stay for my husband and I. It was centrally located on the Island. The beach was about a .5 mile walk so I would suggest taking a little wagon to haul your beach gear. It was very clean and had all the essentials! Communication with the host was very quick.'

'We had a great time at this little cottage. Plenty of space for our group to spread out. Kayaks, the outdoor patio, boat ramp all a huge plus. Kitchen also had everything we needed and the enclosed porch was a huge bonus. Quiet, and the mattresses were quite comfortable. Would absolutely stay here again!!'

'Battery was dead on door lock, so we could not get into house. The owner fixed the problem quickly and without drama. Given the remote location of the house this issue warrants comment.'

From the beds, the small kitchen with all necessities to the lovely patio: everything was so well organized. We really enjoyed staying here (even without meeting the host) and highly recommend!'

'If you enjoy being on the water this is the perfect house. We enjoyed spending time on the pier, relaxing on the screened in porch, and grilling out for dinner. The house is close to downtown Fairhope and Magnolia Springs for dining and shopping options. The house was very clean and had all the amenities we needed. I would stay here again and would recommend it to anyone looking to rent a place in the area.'

'Lovely location overlooking the bay. If you want to be outside of the busyness of the city but close enough to enjoy all Fairhope has to offer this is a great option. The home has some foundation/settling issues that need to be addressed but don't let this stop you from staying here. We had six adults in our party and had plenty of room. The sunsets are amazing! No boat dock/pier at time of our stay.'

'Check-in was super simple. Upon arrival, the property was just as described and was very clean and spacious. The property had everything we needed to prepare meals if we decided not to go out. There were PLENTY of things to do within a very short drive. We enjoyed the beach being across the road, the ferry ride to Dauphin Island, the aquarium, the pier, and so much more. 'Just spent a long weekend at Bayside Cottage in Fairhope, AL. The house was very clean and welcoming. Great location by the water with very nice views and easy access to bayside walks along the water. Management company had very prompt response times and very courteous. Would highly recommend this to anyone.'
