'Nice restaurant, no fuss, clean'

'Not the first, and won't be the last time I have stayed here. Very cosy pub, good food, friendly staff and comfi bedroom with easy parking. What else could you wish for? On this occasion, I even was able to help them with a beer dispense issue (my previous profession) so a good stay all round. Looking forward to my next stay.'

'Our third stay at the Old Ram and, as before, we found the staff friendly and welcoming. The meals we had in the restaurant were delicious and the staff were attentive to our needs. The Old Ram is an ideal place to stay for a visit to Norwich and the surrounding area.'

'Lekker gegeten en voelden ons zeer welkom in deze b en b annex pub. Het is een gehucht maar de lokale bevolking weet het te vinden. S avonds gezellige band. Oude gastheer die nog heerlijke scrambled eggs kan maken. Enorme schone en typisch engelse family kamer. Mocht je in de buurt zijn en een slaapplaats nidig hebben, doen!'

'I was welcomed warmly. The property is well maintained and pleasing to be at. My room was well looked after clean and with Towels and shower products well presented. Food was well priced and the drinks available at the bar were really good, with craft ale available. Parking was easily used and close to the rooms.'

'We booked in so that we could attend the Theatre Royal, which is close by. We wondered whether the parking would be adequate, and it was. We had lunch on arrival. My wife ordered chicken kiev but the dish was really chicken escalopes, but still nice. We liked our room. Temperature control via radiator valves. Very comfortable and clean. The bathroom equipment looked brand new.'

'Vriendelijk personeel, typisch Engelse pup/restaurant Hoge trap, min puntje bad onveilig, nergens bevestigingen om je aan vast te houden. Zal niet voor jongere gelden.'

'We had a good sized apartment which had cooking facilities and a fridge. The bed was really big and comfortable. No issues apart from the fact that they weren’t open on Monday. The bathroom sink was too small and the overhanging cupboard made it difficult to avoid hitting your head when washing your face! Getting the shower temperature right was a challenge and disappointing that it was in the slippery bath and not separate. Staff we met at breakfast were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast...

'The burger and chips were amazing'

'Lovely location. We were given a room in the courtyard, nicely decorated with simple furnishings. Tea,coffee and milk provided but no bottled water, which would usually be expected. The bathroom was adequate but the shower grouting was a bit grim. Food in the restaurant was excellent as was the service, the beer garden was lovely.'

'The apartment was very clean, comfortable and well equipped (modern gas cooker, TV, WiFi, books and games, large supply of basics e.g. sugar, tea, coffee, sauces etc.). We enjoyed the secluded garden overlooking the golf course and the frequent sightings of squirrels, moorhens, pheasants and deer.'

'Great base for exploring Norwich,ten/fifteen minutes walk to river, castle and main shopping areas. Clean and comfortable and nice reception staff.'
