Lovely, Quaint, & Beautiful Location
This home was perfect for what we needed. We were in town for a wedding and this location was just what we needed. It’s so close to the downtown area, where they had coffee, shopping, restaurants, and few places for drinks. The house was clean and we loved the small and historic town feel. We loved this spot and would highly recommend!

Liked: Cleanliness, location, amenities (washer/dryer, device charge station, plenty of towels, comfortable beds, extra blankets, outdoor space etc). Suggestions: Outdoor furniture was comfortable, but it could use a shed/storage box for the cushions. They are easily stained by rain/droppings from trees. I can understand why some people would not want to sit on them without a good cleaning.

Weekend getaway with my 2 daughters. Property was very clean, comfortable, close to numerous restaurants and shopping. Neighborhood felt very safe. We walked to/from town from our rental. We also visited Pebble Hill Plantation. It was gorgeous! I would definitely recommend our rental and Thomasville.

Great alternative to a hotel
Our stay at The Quail Cottage was great! It is a quaint two bedroom with all the necessities. It is a great alternative to a hotel, and allowed our teen to have her own room. It is nice to wake up, make coffee, watch a little TV and not worry about disturbing the others in your party. It was nice that a few bottles of water were provided, some coffee, a few snack, shampoo/conditioner, and soap. Communication with the owner was great as well. My only suggestion would be a few extra blankets for the beds in winter so the heat doesn’t have to be turned up. Great stay though, and we will likely be back and will definitely recommend to others.

We had an exceptional time staying in this 100+ year old cottage! It is cute, decorated nicely, and was very comfortable. The neighborhood is very nice and quiet. Short walk in to town to the many shops, restaurants and other attractions. Nice back yard area. Rained one day so we enjoyed the swing on covered front porch. Great communication with Lauren. Seems she has thought of everything. Easy. Parking was never an issue. Had all we needed and more. Would definitely stay hear again if in the area and property is available. Thank you, thank you

Last FSU Family Weekend
We had an amazing time at the Quail Cottage! Lauren was a wonderful host and great to communicate. She always responded quickly and had so many recommendations for places to checkout in downtown Thomasville (Empire Bagels and AJ Moonspin). The neighborhood is lovely and enjoyed evening walks, dinner in the back yard underneath the Edison lights, and FSU football (only 45 minutes away from the university).

Perfect Thomasville, GA Getaway
This was the most charming restored home in the historic section of Thomasville. Fantastic location, walking distance from downtown Thomasville. Perfect if you are traveling with a dog. Beautiful historic neighborhood to walk your dog or just take a stroll yourself. The host, Lauren, was amazing! Extremely responsive, communicative and helpful. She really thought of everything when designing this home. The beds are dreamily comfortable too, which is key to a wonderful stay! Her restaurant recs were on point! Southern Living just dubbed this town the most welcoming. I couldn’t agree more! The shop and restaurant people were all incredibly kind. Don’t hesitate to rent Lauren’s home. It was great as a single but would also work well for a family of 4 or a perfect for a girls weekend, or couples getaway. Side note: Do not miss the Bookshelf bookstore in town….precious. Jonah’s Fish and Grits and Sweet Caoco were awesome!

Charming cottage
My friend & I met for a mini retreat. We had visited Thomasville a few years earlier & stayed in one of the plantations outside of town, and considered doing that again. However, when we saw that Quail Cottage was available to rent and was located in a nice neighborhood we decided to stay there. We are so glad that was our choice. The neighborhood was beautiful and it was an easy walk into town for shopping and dining. Perfect place to walk the dog and admire all of the beautiful restored houses! The cottage was decorated nicely, the beds comfortable and it was supplied with everything that we needed. Would definitely stay in Lauren’s property again! My mother and I recently had the pleasure of staying at this charming short term rental property that was an absolute delight. From the moment I arrived, I knew I was in for a special experience. The property was beautifully decorated with tasteful and unique touches that added character and warmth to the space. The beds were some of the most comfortable I have ever slept in, and I woke up feeling refreshed and ready for the day. The linens and towels were of high quality and added an extra layer of comfort to my stay. What really set this rental apart, however, was the hostess. She was incredibly kind and welcoming, and went out of her way to make sure I had everything I needed to feel at home. The location of the rental was also fantastic, with easy access to all the local attractions and amenities. I felt like I was in the heart of everything, and yet still able to enjoy a peaceful and relaxing stay. Overall, I cannot recommend this short term rental property highly enough. From the beautifully decorated interior to the comfortable beds and the kind and welcoming hostess, every detail of my stay was exceptional. If you are looking for a charming and comfortable place to stay, this rental is a must.

This cottage and its location were just perfect. We loved the little touches by the owner to make it more comfortable, including the coffee setup and bottled waters in the fridge. Little Cutie House steps away from all the best of downtown Thomasville
This house was absolutely charming, lovely, and perfectly situated close to downtown and all the restaurants, attractions, and shops! Park your car on the street and leave it parked for the entirety of your stay... unless you have too many gift bags from the wonderful shops! :) The house was so very clean, check in was stress-free, and we loved all the games provided in the home and challenged each other to several rounds of Connect 4! Beds were very comfy, there were plenty of extra towels in the hall closet, and the outdoor patio was lovely for catching up and after-dinner conversations. We loved our stay, had the best weekend, and would most definitely return to Thomasville, GA and stay here again!

Our home away from home was very comfortable, clean and had a great hostess. The Historic-neighborhood was perfect to walk in early in the morning. The town featured historic buildings and plantations, with a downtown of chic Restaurants, gift shops, and bars. Loved the whole scene!

Lovely home in a lovely location
Beautifully decorated home in a quiet neighborhood yet located closed to all the destinations. Didn’t spend too much time unfortunately in this precious little home but the bathroom was clean for our evening shower, the beds were wonderfully comfortable. As the familiar saying goes.....'there is no place like home!' Well the Quail Cottage is as close to that statement as possible. Lauren makes the Quail Cottage an enjoyable stay. Everything worked well, and we had a good time, except for two things: The toilet was one of those meant for children, but this property wasn’t intended for children—I wish all of your property owners would put in at least one comfort height toilet. I’m aware the property isn’t specified as ADA or non-ADA compliant, although I would have to go back and check the listing. Nevertheless, the front stairs without a railing was a problem.

the rental was great. Perfectly clean and stocked for our 3 week stay, which was awesome. Location was perfect to get some good walks in and explore the Thomasville neighborhoods and walk into the downtown area. Our dog loved the fence backyard. Neighborhood was friendly and inviting.

Disappointment
The overall was okay. The disappointment started @the front door had a hole, the bathroom was so tinny that there was no room to have more than one toothbrush on the non-existent counter space. The back yard was dirty, with dog poop and the worst part was unable to use the outdoor sitting since it was with mold. The place was not cleaned before arrival. We removed a carpet and it was dirty. It was Christmas and not a word from the host, she left us on our own and TV was useless. A huge disappointment for the money we paid.

That's unfortunate to read this review because this is the 1st "bad" review for Quail Cottage in over 200+ stays all with 5 star reviews. I do have to mention you completely moved all the furniture around in the home (1st time I've had anyone do this!) & did not put a single piece back. Even taking an extremely heavy mirror off the wall in a bedroom & placing it in a chair in the living room??? Also, you broke a door knob but I did not charge for & just replaced as cost of doing business. I was in constant communication with you the entire stay & you never mentioned any of the items you are mentioning in your review except the TV which I offered for my cleaner to stop by & help but you declined. That's unfortunate you think you experienced such a bad stay because my homes are very well taken care of & I hold cleanliness to the highest standard. -Lauren

Wonderful stay
We loved our stay at the quail cottage. The backyard was perfect for hanging out with our dogs and kids. The inside was clean and cute. There were lots of board games for the kids as well and the owner was really responsive to any questions!

This house has all the charm and modernization that you could want all within a great walk or drive to downtown! Lauren was so amazing to communicate with and all the details were so nice! If I am ever in town again I will be contacting Lauren to stay here!

The coziest cottage!
My husband and I really enjoyed staying at this cottage. The place was very clean and cozy and the house was well stocked with all of the essentials. There was even a complimentary welcome tray on the bed when we checked in. We had an issue with the front door not unlocking due to the battery dying but the owner was able to find a resolution very quickly! I would definitely stay here again if we come back to Thomasville.

I now have on my calendar to change the batteries in the locks every 8 months on all 3 of my houses whether they are bad or not so this should never happen again. Quail Cottage in December
Such a charming well appointed cottage. My husband and I travel through Thomasville a couple times a year for a little holiday retail therapy on our way to quail hunt. This is our new favorite pet friendly place to stay. Very comfortable home and a bonus to have a fenced yard for our cocker spaniel. Our host, Lauren, was very friendly and easy to work with, we will definitely be coming back!
