'A very welcoming place and Debbie went out of her way to help me check-in early. The room was extremely clean and comfortable and it was in a really convenient location. The bed was very comfortable and the homemade cakes just topped everything off!! Would highly recommend and when we next travel to Torquay to visit family, we will definitely be staying again. 'I mostly loved the cleanliness of Abberley House and the gorgeous breakfast that was served immediately. Nothing was too much trouble for Jackie. Jackie cares and really wants her guests to have a good holiday, and we felt so comfortable at all times. 'Perfect hosts couldn't do enough for us, breakfast was fabulous fresh food sourced from local butcher's, room cleaned daily nothing was a problem for Anita, free parking was a blessing, will definitely be going back.'

'Immaculately clean rooms. Scott and Helen were very friendly and accommodating with our late arrival. Delicious and beautifully cooked breakfast. Comfortable bed, roomy accommodation. Hosts were very helpful with local information too. Guest house is very conveniently situated for Torquay sea front and we had a very pleasant stay. Loved the small but adequate fridge in the dressing area, and the made to order slate coasters. '

'So the B&B was clean. Shower took ages to get warm and then it was wither hot or cold. The loo was so noisy i didnt flush unless i had to. Pillow was like a wafer, NO PARKING AS ADVERTISED. MY CAR WAS BROKEN IN TO. PASSENGER WINDOW SMASHED '

' Overall this nice little BnB is very good. The hostess is very friendly and helpful with local sights etc. Unfortunately our stay was spoilt by a very uncomfortable mattress.There was a slant to the room which caused feet higher than head. Had to move around bedding and place cushions under mattress, but still could not sleep. The curtains were too thin, so at 530am the room was very bright. We booked for 3 nights, but left after 2 due to lack of sleep.'
