'If you want to visit the redwoods, this location can't be beat! Just minutes to various trails and visitors center. Be aware there's not much food-wise in Orick, so come prepared with groceries or be willing to drive a bit for restaurants. The house was clean, and I really appreciated the ability to do laundry and how well stocked the house was. The listing does need to be updated - I believe when I booked it had listed a hot tub and two tvs for example, there was no hot tub and only one tv. Not...

The communication with the property manager is remarkably prompt and attentive. We’ve stayed two times so far, and look forward to staying again!'

'My teen son and I very much enjoyed our stay at this home over Spring Break. It is the perfect home base for visiting the Redwood parks. It is challenging to find; look for laminated signs directing you past the farmhouse. The property managers did not give us the key code until we arrived, which was frustrating. Once inside the home it is well-appointed and quite lovely. It had everything that we needed, and we were grateful for the nice kitchen, good beds, white linens (!), and hot showers!'

'The cottage was just as we expected. The proximity to the beach was awesome, less than5 minutes by car and if you are adventurous, a 10 minute hike/walk to the Houda Point Beach and Camel Rock. Stunning sunsets! Nikki is great to work with, a prompt communicator and was very accommodating. Highly recommend for those looking for a quiet relaxing getaway.'

The peaceful little neighborhood where it is located is driving distance to most of the northern Redwood experiences. including state and national parks, beaches, roadside attractions, etc. Check-in is so easy and hosts are readily available through text.
