Island lost power. Didn’t know about few things like ice, sunrise yoga, bikes rental. Staff was friendly just hard to communicate with power out.

Place was good. Very closer to beach. The shower water flow was slower however after we informed them, they fixed the shower. When we get in the room, we noticed the hand-wash and body wash containers were empty. Noticed few ticks on the floor and bed.

Worst experience ever !! Pool was nasty! Microwave stopped working! Hair in shower ! Lights went out on property and fell walking into the door once lights went out . Also stuck on the elevator . Once asked for a refund for the traumatic experience that me and my family endured, I was told by the general manager that respectfully nothing can be done !!!! highly don’t recommend this place !!

The expedia listing shows that this hotel has a restaurant and a bar on site, which is why we chose this hotel. It does not have these things since covid the manager said. She also said that they have asked Expedia to update the listing multiple times.They have a little tiki bar by the pool that is open in the afternoons until about 8pm. Luckily, there was food, live music, and drinks at a bar named Nickies right down the street.

We never stayed in Tybee but visited every time we were in Savannah. WE will not be staying here again, too noisy and crowded. Hotel did not offer a continental breakfast. Staff was its saving grace. It needs repairs and updates in a bad way.

Upon arrival to our room we immediately noticed drywall dust and fragments all over various areas within our room and water in the bathroom floor. This was brought to the attention of the front desk staff and it was asked that someone clean the room while we were out for the evening seeing the island…..no one ever came nor was it cleaned once during our entire stay. Was forced to forfeit our last nights stay due to unsafe conditions within and around the hotel after waking up with our entire floor smelling like marijuana and other guests walking up and down the hallways with boom boxes. Was advised by the manager that it was a PUBLIC AREA and nothing could be done. Needless to say we will never return to this property if not the entire island.

Great location less than a min walk from the beach. We had ocean view balcony. They do make you pay a resort/amenities fee ours was 203 for 5 day and that’s because they put 2 beach towels and a couple beach chair in each room. We don’t have anyone clean our room the entire time we were there idk why they don’t we had to go to the desk and ask for fresh towels and stuff. Plenty of parking. Has elevator. It’s undergoing some renovation but that didn’t bother us. Plenty of handicap accessible parking.

Nice view. Not quite as clean as I’d have liked. The main elevator was broken, so we had to take one to the third floor, then trek down the hall to either the stairs or the service elevator which was in the corridor where they threw the trash and laundry. That was kind of gross. Didn’t use the pool, so I can’t speak on that. I guess overall, you get what you pay for. It was one of the least expensive hotels that still had a nice ocean view, so it worked.

First the property is in desperate need of remodeling! Air conditioners are extremely old and noisy. The restaurants in the area aren’t fully staffed there is NO restaurant or even snack bar on property. This is a Motel NOT a Hotel!

The location was perfect. I will say for the price though I expected the room to be cleaner. The mini fridge also was rusty and everytime we opened or closed it rust fell off. Was a bit surprised at the party vibe and public parking lot behind the hotel as you can’t tell that from the pictures. It makes it seem as you walk right onto the beach but that isn’t the case. Had to move rooms as there was a party next door but the front desk was great and receptive to out request and place us in a corner room and from there it was nice and quiet. Wouldn’t recommend for families but for a couple’s get away is ok, just be ready for the parties. Ocean view room is only from 3rd and 4th floor rooms. Beach was nice and clean. Supposed to be dog free but as always people don’t care and bring dogs anyways but had a nice experience at the beach. Probably won’t go back as the price doesn’t match the quality of the hotel but you can’t beat the location. A one night stay to have beach access works but anything longer, I wouldn’t recommend.

Please know that you were here during one of the busiest times in Savannah; St Patrick's Day! Our celebration is the second biggest of the country. If you come any other time ( and July and August also can be pretty busy) you'll find us a lot more laid back.

The Destination Amenity Fee covers much more than just parking and bikes! Some hotels call it a luxury tax or hotel fee. For us, it includes access to the grilling area, in-room safes, beach chairs and towels, microwave, complimentary coffee and much more!

We asked for early check in if possible. She told me it would cost Xtra 50 bucks because they would have to pull maids off another room to get ours ready. I thought that's fair. We get to our room and hit was already clean. Then why charge us,? I had a five year old with a broken leg. I don't mind pay Xtra if warranted. This was plain greediness. Never again. Very disappointed.

We're so sory there was a miscommunication. To clarify, we (like many hotels) charge an early check-in fee, otherwise everyone would show up before we could have a chance to clean the rooms from the previous guests' stay. It's standard practice. Did you enjoy your stay, though?

Stayed at Hotel Tybee for 4 nights while participating in the Run Fest in Feb 2024. PROS: The bed was extremely comfortable, and the front desk was helpful and courteous. CONS: Why do they charge $38 amenity fee? there were no amenities that I used during the visit; this is ridiculous. The nightly rate should cover anything they offer. There was no housekeeping for the entire 4 night stay. I don't know if they don't provide housekeeping during the winter but at a minimum I should have been told that I would not get housekeeping.

Thank you for the great score. I'm glad you found the hotel staff so accomodating, too. The Parking Amenity Fee of 38 covers several things: parking, in-room safe, beach chairs and beach towels, mini-fridge, coffee-maker and microwave, bike rental that you could use to bikes around the island, access to the grilling area and more!

This was among the worst hotels I’ve ever stayed in. The room was clean, but the hotel itself was shabby and not cared for. There was no lobby. There was no food, and the room was not cleaned on a regular basis. Overpriced, shabby and disappointing.

We're so sorry you were disappointed. it's hard to believe, but there are still some pandemic restrictions that forbids us from entering a guest's room until their stay is over...unless specifically asked for service. Did you let the front desk staff you wanted maid service?
