'The owner was extremely kind and helpful and he was interested in the countries the guests were from. The room was clean and well-kept, the beds comfortable , the decor rustic and authentic. 'Onze kamer, nr.6, deed erg benauwd aan (laag plafond, erg groot dressoir in de kamer waar je niets mee kunt). Gedeelde badkamer zeer klein, geen mogelijkheid om je was spullen neer te zetten. Vloer zeer schuin, huis is erg oud. Aan het onbijt wordt veel aandacht gegeven. Je kan opgeven wat je wilt en het wordt vers voor je bereid.'

'Overall positive experience from this property. Pros: Beautiful cabin in a great location on the Ausable River. Close enough to all of the things you would need or want from your stay while also giving you the privacy you're looking for. Cons: I believe the cleaner did not do a thorough cleaning of the master bedroom which was disappointing. We had to re-wash all of the bedding upon our arrival.'

'Our stay to view the totality of the eclipse on 4/8/24 was outstanding. The clouds cooperated and the view from the deck was perfect to watch the moon's slow march across the face of the sun - and then to be plunged into darkness surrounded by the trees and mountains was otherworldly. The house was neat, clean, and had everything we wanted or needed. Marty and Melissa were the perfect hosts with super easy and fast communication. We would love to stay again even without an eclipse!'

'The place is well located in Adirondak but we have rented for 8 persons and we had not enough place to sleep, no extra matress. The sofa bed was horrible (juste for one personne) So three persons had no place to sleep and the host didnt care and told us that we should bring our own matress.
