Wat een heerlijk hotel. Weet niet waar ik beginnen moet. Eigenlijk toch. Wat een aardige mensen, echt iedereen doet er alles aan om het je naar je zin te maken en dat lukt echt. Prachtige accommodatie nabij Ubud
We hebben een fantastisch verblijf gehad bij The Kayon Resort nabij Ubud. Het resort is prachtig gelegen in de jungle, met fantastische uitzichten vanuit het zwembad en de kamers. Het personeel doet er alles aan om je verblijf onvergetelijk te maken en is bijzonder vriendelijk. Het restaurant is van hoge kwaliteit en er zijn dagelijks verschillende activiteiten.

Een verborgen parel.
The Kanyon is een verborgen parel in Ubud. Service en kwaliteit zijn beide van topniveau. De gehele staff doet het uiterste om het een onvergetelijke vakantie te maken en geen verzoek is gek genoeg, als het nu gaat om transport, maaltijden, etc. De shuttle naar het centrum van Ubud is een uitkomst en verder organiseren ze diverse andere activiteiten die je vakantie nog completer kunnen maken.

I originally booked this place since it’s close to the airport for the last part of our stay. It’s very loud with the entertainment at night. The towels smell like mildew. The service is nothing like Ubud village. The positive about this place is all the restaurants on the Main Street and massage places. They are so much inexpensive compared to the hotels. They do have an amazing gym.

The location in the jungle and being close to the waterfall was simply excellent. Secluded and away from traffic. The staff were also superb and especially Dewa Ayu at the reception desk and Yudi in the restaurant. Overall it was like heaven on earth

On our first night during dinner my wife required urgent medical attention. They called the hospital and alerted them of our situation and drove us to emergency. The staff member then waited 3 hours in the car park to drive us back home. It was well past his finishing time. He was very reassuring, and told us not to worry about anything and just to get better. The staff then informed us that the dinner we didn’t get to finish would be made again with no extra charge and kept our bottle of wine. They then also presented us with a honeymoon cake. Not only are they a great resort they are also wonderful people. I cannot be more thankful of The Kayon resort.

Was a remarkable stay. Everyone - housekeeping, front desk, service crews were very attentive and polite. A very meditative and romantic place to relax and recharge. We had a wonderful stay at the Kanyon resort. Our room was nice, and our view of the canyon and jungle was amazing. The food was excellent. Laundry service was great and the highlight of the trip was the staff who couldn’t have been better!!

Overall, the Kayon is a nice place. The staff in particular were a big highlight - they are really wonderful and helpful, and the overall property is quite nice including the restaurant and beautiful dance shows. The two things that were negatives for us were the spa and the actual room condition. We booked a room with a private pool, only to learn there are different ones that do not look like the pictures. They did amend this and give us one like the pictures which we very much appreciated, however the condition of the deck and pool area, etc. was not what we would've expected for the price of the hotel (we stayed in another hotel in Ubud also which was half the price and in significantly better condition/more beautiful, thinking the Kayon would be our fancy spot on our honeymoon). The spa massage was good, but awkward - the girls stayed in the room after finishing the massage, and insisted we get up undressed infront of them to leave the room while they cleaned up. It felt strange... usually you have a moment of privacy before and after a massage to get in and out from under the sheets but it wasn't the case for us. They also were whispering to each other and talking quietly together throughout the massage, which we could not understand.

My husband and I spent 6 nights in Kayon Resort for my birthday celebration. It is an exceptionally well managed resort. Staff paid close attention to all details and ensured your satisfaction. We felt staff genuinely cared about our comfort and wellbeing. They were eager to show us their beautiful hometown and Balinese culture. Breakfast was always cooked to order with attentive staff. We were treated like a family and greeted on daily basis. Yudi and Sriyani’s thoughtfulness and kindness truly warms our hearts. They went Above and beyond to help us in anyway they could. We love our beautiful Villa. This is the most romantic hotel we have ever stayed.

Nothing was too much trouble and the staff went above and beyond to ensure our stay was memorable. We especially enjoyed our evening meals at the restaurant with Balinese dancing. Some days we ate breakfast, lunch and dinner at the resort and the food was always delicious with great presentation. We would not hesitate to recommend the Kayon Resort.
