'Inaki Uhi has a great location "downtown" Hanga Roa. There are a couple of supermarkets close to the hotel and a bakery next door (empañadas!) and some good restaurants across the road. Its a small walk to the "harbor" (mainly a few small boats for fishing and scubadiving). Alvaro, the host, knows a lot about the island so try taking a tour with him! The wifi works but isn't really fast.'

'We had a wonderful stay on Easter Island. Our hostess was lovely and checked with us by Whatsapp every day to see if we needed anything. Our plane was delayed and she was happy to let us stay on a little longer. The appartment had a lovely, peaceful balcony next to banana trees and avocado plants and was within walking distances of restaurants and the coast where we could snorkel with turtles. If we lived nearer we would be back every year!'

'Maunga Roa Eco Lodge made our stay in Easter Island an absolute dream. The home was beautiful, decorated very nicely, quiet, and the absolute most amazing view one could have on the island. 'One thing I really liked about this place was it’s literally walking distance from the airport, about two blocks away. The transfer company had my flight wrong so didn’t show up, and I really wanted to get to the hotel to use the pool, so I walked, and it was fine.
