In het centrum en toch op een rustige plek.
Kamer was erg klein, inrichting Venetiaans, (wat oubollig), maar voor daar wel prima. De badkamer kon wel een opknapbeurt gebruiken. Ik kreeg in eerste instantie een kamer op de derde verdieping, waar ik me niet goed bij voelde (kleine lift, etc.). Er werd een oplossing gezocht, kreeg een kamer op de eerste verdieping, dat was oke.

Ideale rustige plek, authentiek hotel, echt aan te bevelen, heerlijk ontbijt, zeer aardige receptie en bar medewerkers.

Good location, good breakfast, but no working airco during stay
The location of the hotel is just lovely. On a little square centrally located called: St. Maria del Giglio. The location is central because it is a 10 or 15 minute walk to both St. Marco Square or the Rialto bridge. The hotel is also very good reachable by boat, the stop is just next to the square. The breakfast of the hotel was good, nice and friendly service and everything included. The only problem we've had was that the airco was not working in the hotel. It was therefore extremely warm in the room. After a lot of complaining we got a fan, which did not help a lot. After even more complaining, because it was not fixed after three days, we got a free diner in the end. I had the feeling that the airco was just shutdown for a week or so, to save on electricity costs.

I would like to give this property 5 stars because of how friendly and helpful the staff is. But the bathroom in the room prevents me. Mind you, everything was quite clean, but the size of the shower was 2 ft. by 2 ft. Seriously. My husband is 6 ft. 4. I felt terrible for him trying to clean. If it were just me traveling I would return to this hotel. Otherwise, it's a no-go.

Beautiful Venetian style hotel. Only 35 rooms and so it feels very personable. The staff are so attentive, friendly and helpful and are always on hand to make you feel welcome. Our room was perfect - overlooking the beautiful architecture of the church opposite. Breakfast was good. The hotel is situated in San Marco which is a perfect base to walk to all the nearby places of intetest. The waterbus stop is one minute away, so easy to access from the airport. We went on a delightful Gondala ride that we picked up alongside one of the neighbouring bridges. I would recommend Hotel Bel Sito to anyone and I hope to return one da

Las instalaciones ya estĆ”n antiguas y les falta mantenimiento. En la habitaciĆ³n que me hospedĆ© se escuchaban los pasos y ruidos que hacĆ­an las personas del piso de arriba y la lĆ”mpara, que era como un candil, se movĆ­a y hacĆ­a ruido cada vez que caminaban, por tal motivo nos despertĆ”bamos constantemente en la madrugada, lo que no nos permitiĆ³ descansar. La ubicaciĆ³n estĆ” muy buena, al igual que la limpieza y el servicio.

La atenciĆ³n de todo el personal es exquisita. El hotel es precioso y estĆ” ubicada en una zona conveniente y comunicada en vaporetto con la estaciĆ³n de trenes. Es un buen lugar para explorar a pie ya que tanto San Marco como el puente de la Accademia, por ejemplo, se encuentran a menos de 10 minutos caminando. Mi habitaciĆ³n se encontraba en el primer piso, cruzando un pequeƱo patio interior que daba al canal. La habitaciĆ³n, decorada al estilo veneciano, tenia el tamaƱo perfecto y estaba perfectamente limpia y cĆ”lida. Contaba con minibar, baƱo privado y televisiĆ³n. Como daba hacia el canal, de vez en cuando pasaban gĆ³ndolas con serenata que era maravilloso de ver. Junto a recepciĆ³n tiene un pequeƱo bar en el que poder tomar algo. Sin duda, volverĆ©.

Perfect for a few days of exploring Venice. Location was short walking distance to all of the tourist attractions while not being in an overly busy area. Definitely recommend if you want a cute stay that wonā€™t break the bank in a convenient location.

very close to the water bus to and from the airport. The Giglio stop is only 3 minutes walk. Didn't need to go far with luggage and back pack it's conveniently located. The walls of the room is a bit thin. You could literally listen to the conversations. Fortunately after 10:00 it has quieted down.

Excellent location close to the Giglio vaporetto stop and, more importantly, no bridges to cross with your luggage. Easy walking distance to all the sights and close to high end shops if that is your thing. Breakfast was a bit disappointing but the coffee was excellent.

Our time at Albergo Bel Sito e Berlino was excellent! The hotel is beautifully decorated in ornate vintage Venetian style furnishings with a pretty lobby lovely, peaceful common areas to relax in, and small cozy bar area. There is also a delightful inner courtyard garden with tables and chairs open day and night for further relaxation after a hectic day wandering around busy Venice. The breakfasts were extensive with various special dishes that varied each day as well as daily eggs, potatoes, bacon, cereals, breads, pastries, yogurt, juices, etc and of course made-to-order delicious cappuncini. Our room was spacious and gorgeous with a view of the church opposite the hotel. The room was well appointed with mini fridge, coffee/tea maker, plenty of storage, large flat-screen tv, and excellent air conditioning. The bathroom was wonderful - beautiful, large and modern with a walk-in shower with excellent water pressure.The staff were all very professional, polite, very helpful and always smiling. Dear staff member Ashan was especially delightful and we enjoyed seeing him each day. We loved this hotel and look much forward to again returning - this is the only Venice hotel we wish to stay in! Really convenient for the water taxis and for visiting St Mark's etc. Very friendly and helpful staff. The bed was one of the most comfortable hotel beds I've slept in (and I've done a LOT) and the air conditioning etc worked well. We opted for included breakfast and that was pleasant. Not amazing but certainly good enough to set you up for the day and was tasty and good quality. We loved our stay in this hotel and would certainly stay in it again.

Excellent Budget Choice in Venice
This was a lovely hotel just steps from the Piazza San Marco. Although the room decor was slightly dated, the staff, service and location more than made up for it. The breakfast offered was also wonderful, and the bonus was that the canal dock closest to the hotel was literally less than 100 meters away (this is huge in Venice since you don't want to drag your suitcases down the narrow streets and over the canal bridges). Highly recommended.

In a word, FABULOUS!! From the moment we arrived the receptionist was very welcoming and friendly. All the staff throughout our stay could not have been more helpful, from the waiters at breakfast to the maids that cleaned our room. The room itself was very clean and tidy, with everything you need, from clothes handling space, large mirror and enough sideboard area to put items on, the only thing missing perhaps was a kettle and coffee/tea making facility. The bathroom was a little on the small side however, the fixtures and fittings were of a very high quality and the shower was excellent. The room we stayed in in overlooked the beautiful church opposite and the piazza next to hotel. The breakfast selection was continental style, with plenty of choice from cereals, fruit and hot items all of great quality. The location from the hotel is very central to to all the usual sights, St. Marks Square to the Rialto Bridge. The hotel could not have been two minutes from the Vaporetto (water bus) stop of S. Maria del Giglio which is very handy especially if you have suit cases etc. Thank you for a great stay!!

This was a lovely hotel. Friendly and helpful staff, lovely breakfast! Bed and shower very nice. Excellent location! 4 minute walk to St Markā€™s square. The water bus stop was a one minute walk and if you want to splurge on a water taxi they have their own ā€œdockā€. We would stay here again if we return.
