Een goed hotel met superlocatie bij het San Marco plein. Enig minpunt was wel dat we elke ochtend om 6 uur gewekt werden door lawaai van de bevoorradingsboot van het hotel. Wellicht hebben niet alle kamers daar last van.

Super hotel met goede ligging
Beoordeling gaat eigelijk over het naast gelegen hotel Al Ponte Dei Sospiri.. Dona Palace was in renovatie dus hebben we hier mogen overnachten. Super service, grote kamer, zalig bed, ontbijt incl geleverd in de kamer, sterke WiFi, perfecte ligging aan het water bij de brug der zuchten..

een klus hotel maar niet van 4 sterren waard.
Lokatie van het hotel is wel oke. vlakbij de San Marcoplein. het ligt binnen de klein steegje, de ingang en de naamboord is zo onopvallen dat wij paar keer voorbij gelopen. De hotel lounge is klein, dus de kamer is van zelfsprekend ook klein. De kraan in de badkamer functioneert niet goed kan namelijk niet geheel dicht draaien. De putje in de douchebak is verstopt. het water stroomt uit de douchebak. We hebben niet direct gemeld bij de receptie omdat wij na het lange reizen al dood op waren. Dus we hebben snel gedouche en gelijk naar bed gegaan. Voor viersterren hotel verwacht ik een betere kamervoorziening

Goed hotel, uitstekende ligging.
Rialtobrug op 8 minuten lopen, mits je niet verdwaald.. San Marcoplein 3 minuten. Fijn hotel met vriendelijk personeel. Goed ontbijt. Foto's zijn wat mooier dan de werkelijkheid.

This was my second time at Dona Palace Hotel in Venice Italy and I must say each time I am amazed at how flawlessly managed it is. My room was "home away from home" in every aspect. I love their bed sheets! Grande place and very comfortable in every manner. Thank you for making my visit to Venice so enjoyable.

Fabulous, comfortable stay
Fabulous from entering the foyer, beautiful surroundings. desk staff, helpful and friendly. luggage immediately taken to our room. Our room number 45 was big, bath, two sinks, lots of toiletries. Air conditioning, huge comfortable bed. Breakfast was incredible, again staff attentive and friendly. We have been visiting Venice seven years, best hotel we have been in.

I enjoyed our stay, and the location was very convenient to plaza Santa Marco. The only downfall was the bathroom grout had some mold in the shower area. The staff was very nice, and the room was roomy and clean otherwise.

Loved it!
This is s very nice hotel, and I was quite comfortable here. The breakfast room, bar, patio, and terrace were very nice. Elia, in the bar was a great bartender. He made me something quite tasty. I would certainly stay here again if I wanted to be in the very busy area of San Marco.

Very good experience and nice roof terrace. However, the picture representing the suite we booked is confusing, as the room looked totally different with low ceilings and modern decor, which was fine, but not what you expect from the photo.

Wonderful stay!
Perfect location for St Mark's Square! Lovely outdoor seating area beside canal. A rarity in Venice. Front Desk staff were extremely helpful. Overall, a perfect stay at Dona Palace! Thank you Dona Palace!

Gem in Venice
This is a great hotel with friendly staff. Location is close enough to St Marks Square without having the noise and people traffic. Breakfast and bar were great. We stayed in two different rooms. Both well appointed. Another couple in a third room traveling with us and it was beautiful. If you are using the room with roof top hot tub, be advised it is NOT heated. Would probably choose another room there next time. And we would definitely stay here next time.

THe hotel is a great location. Staff was nice. Room is nice size and looks nice. The bed however is hard not comfortable and pillows are bad. Had problem with toilet and couldn't call down to get help. Had to go downstairs to front desk and get help as toilet wouldn't stop flushing. Very low ceilings.

Adorable hotel in a great location. Friendly staff. Very close to duomo, vaporetto, dining, and shopping. Can watch gondolas from terrace also. Very nice stay.

A beautiful old hotel located directly on a canal, allowing the water taxi to drop us off on site. A wonderful breakfast room and an even nicer garden bar. Our bartender was excellent. I paid for a suite and was happy I did as the corner room on the third floor provided an outstanding view.
