verblijf bij hotel Papadopoli
Mijn verblijf was zeer kort vermits we problemen hadden met onze heen vlucht en ik laat in de nacht aankwam.Onze kamer was zeer mooi maar zeer klein met 2 koffers en 2 handkoffertjes konden we zelfs niet van ons bed tot in de badkamer geraken.Dit hotel was speciaal gekozen omdat het heel dicht bij de cruiseterminal lag.Het personeel was zeer hulpvaardig.

Fijn hotel, leuke locatie
Dit hotel ligt tussen het centrale busstation en een gezellig parkje aan een prachtig kanaaltje. Het ligt dicht bij de ACTV bootbus, een ideale plek voor de toerist, die niet zo toeristisch wil zijn, een eindje weg van het San Marco geweld.

Papadopoli in Venice, a wonderful & peaceful stay
Ideally located, the hotel is adjacent to a quiet canal and park, yet conveniently (for travelling to and from airport et) only a 5 minute walk from the bus area at P. Roma. This situation means being a bit out of the main hub of tourist activity but we found that a blessing! And the extra 30 minutes walking by quieter canals everyday was very pleasant (also resulted in us finding some very nice restaurants.) The room, breakfasts, facilities and hotel in general, were lovely, and the staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. Based on our experiences we can fully recommend this hotel.

Incredibly friendly and accomodating staff. No ask was too big for them. They wanted to make sure my stay was perfect. The staff were wonderful, the hotel is conveniently located, super clean and quiet. Beautiful! Canā€™t wait to return again next year. Will definitely stay here! Highly reccomend!

I highly recommend the Hotel Papadopoli Venezia. The hotel is beautiful and conveniently located near the bus and the train station. The staff was friendly and very helpful.

Super close to the people mover. Facility was nice, but the stains on the 1st floor carpet were undesirable for the money we spent. Housekeeping didnt check the minibar prior to our arrival, there was a half empty bottle of sparkling water.

Less than 10 min walking from the train station, on a side canal, busy but relatively quiet area. We enjoyed staying there 3 nights in July. Tastily decorated hotel interior ā€“ hallways, bar, breakfast room, and terrace. Our Deluxe double room with canal view & balcony was roomy enough, the bed and bathroom excellent and it had a very efficient and quiet AC system. Very good breakfast, with lots of tasty fresh products. We were treated professionally, with care and friendly similes ā€“ thanks for your service.

Regret upgrade "Suite Room150 on the ground floor.
A Room next to Kitchen. This hotel provided us a offer of Euro100 per night to upgrade to an "Suite". I appreicate her offer and asked if I could look at the room first before making decision. Instead of let us check the room, the manager response by provide another special offer of Euro 50 per night for upgrade. When we goto the room, we find that it is a lonely room in the ground floor next to the kitchen. We found that there is only 1 room with room no. 150 in the floor. We could see only 1 room in the floor plan. The room is a "Suite" but no view, very dark. It seems like it is not a regular hotel guest room. I felt very uncomfortable and request to change room or change to my original room type within 5 mins. My reason is the room is only 1 room in that floor, next to kitchen and very dark. The staff refuse to change room and we have no choice to stay 1 night and cancel the 2nd night. (Originally we book 2 nights.) I think the major problem was the manager don't let us check the room first. Just provide a big discount as response to attract you to take the offer.

Dear Guest,We are deeply sorry to read your disappointment relating you recent stay with us, probably generated by a misunderstanding upon your arrival.Your reservation was made online for a Double Room for 2 persons, but upon check-in you were in 3 persons.This is the reason why we had to change the room originally booked, as for legal reasons it was impossible to accommodate the three of you in a double room.Our triple rooms were already sold so we had to offer you an upgrade in a Suite, the only solution suitable for you to avoid you to pay for a second room, much more expensive.The room you mention is our Bloom Suite, one of our newest room, elegantly decorated with venetian marble floor and Murano chandeliers, a private terrace/garden and an enchanting view on the canal.We can absolutely guarantee that the room is on the opposite site and different floor from the kitchen; we apologize for not having showed you the room before, but actually it was the only alternative available for that night.Please also allow us to say that the supplement of 100 Euro per night (than lowered to 50 Euro to meet your requests) was a really good offer considering that it was for the upgrade of 2 room categories plus the extra fee for the third person.We offered you the opportunity to change room the day after, as in the afternoon (around 17.30-18.00) most of guests were already checked-in, but you preferred to leave after one night.We have done our utmost to try to find a way to fulfill your wishes, and we regret for not having been able to live your expectations in the occasion.We hope to have the opportunity to regain your trust in a future.Best regards

The location is great. Short walk to the train station. When arriving by taxi, hotel is just one bridge from drop off. Breakfast room is lovely with big windows looking at garden. The rooms and beds are comfortable. Drinks in the bar was a great way to end the day.

The hotel was in a good location away from the tourist area. Room was good and clean. Check in staff were not friendly at all. Quite snooty. It didnā€™t matter when we would come and go, they were all the same. And they were not helpful as there was a train strike and we had to make alternate travel plans. We asked them and they were vague and clueless.

This hotel is a gem. It's within walking distance to the train station and taxi stands, so it's possible to carry your own luggage without paying for a porter. We were a family of 4 so we got adjoining rooms which was very convenient. Rooms-Very spacious with comfortable beds and pillows, nicely decorated and all the modern conveniences. The bathroom was also spacious for a Venetian hotel. More importantly it was very clean. We had a late flight out of Venice and they kept our bags for us after checkout without any issues. Dining-We had breakfast every morning which was 26 euro for a full breakfast and 15 euro for continental. The full breakfast was worth it. We we went out to restaurants for all other meals. Location- as mentioned the hotel is located on a canal and close to the train station so there is quite a walk to the grand canal and St. Marks square, however, the walk is very scenic and a wide variety of shops, restaurants and gelato locations. We found out about the boat ferry service on the last day which could be an option to quickly get to the "center" of Venice if needed as the boat pier is very near to the hotel. Staff- very accommodating and professional. One of our family members had an accident and fell on the floor and the staff handled it well and offered medical assistance. The restaurant and bar staff were also very efficient and always there to lend a hand. The next time we return to Venice we will be staying here.
