Mooie en verzorgde B&B, goede ligging
Fisher House was een goede B&B, maar ook niet meer dan dat. Het ontvangst was eerder koel en gereserveerd, met beperkte uitleg over de bezienswaardigheden in de omgeving. Het huis zelf was netjes en verzorgd, de kamers waren prima in orde. Het ontbijt was OK, maar er werd op voorhand niet naar bepaalde voorkeuren gevraagd, waardoor wij tweemaal ons ontbijt slechts voor de helft opaten. De eigenaars waren enkel bij ontvangst en ontbijt aanwezig, voor het overige was er geen contact met hen wat ik wel jammer vind voor een B&B. Parkeergelegenheid is beperkt tot maximum drie wagens. Er heersen strikte huisregels: geen schoenen in het huis en na tien uur 's avonds geen lawaai (inclusief douche) meer toegelaten. De ligging is uitstekend: in een rustige woonstraat op vijf minuutjes te voet naar het centrum en eveneens naar het water. In het centrum is er volop eetgelegenheid mogelijk.

Jen is a fantastic host in an exceptional location in James Bay. Fischer house is beautiful and Jen is a fantastic cook and very helpful with travel tips up the island. Without question we will stay at Fisher House again.

This BnB is quite lovely. Well appointed and charming as it can get. Plus Jennifer, the proprietor, is so sweet and accommodating. The property is located in a beautiful quiet neighborhood. It’s a find!!!

Amazing and lovely place!
We enjoy our stay at the Fisher house! The lovely decor and the charming bedroom really makes us feel comfortable. The location is amazing, 10 minutes walk from downtown and also 5 minutes from the gorgeous Beacon Hill park. The host is very nice and friendly. The breakfast was also great ! I recommend this place and we’ll be back some other time for sure.

Jenn was wonderful! And her home is lovely! Breakfast was terrific...and we loved the location! Once there we walked everywhere. We wished we could have stayed longer, but had to depart on the ferry, which is very close by. We look forward to staying there again in the future and exploring Victoria more!

This B and B is absolutely wonderful! The location was great for us as we parked the car and didn't need it till we left. Walked downtown, to the ocean, Fisherman's Wharf, etc. Coral was such an amazing hostess and was so kind and gracious. The breakfast was amazing and she respected our dietary needs. The bed was very comfy and the room was clean and nicely decorated. The one thing we didn't know was that the bathroom was across the hall. No problem as they provide a robe to use while in the short distance across the hall and we never did bump into the other guests. Just something to know. Would highly recommend this place!

Nice house with good dining area. Good breakfasts except was not keen on the stodgy pancakes. Our room was not an on-suite, but had a bathroom across the landing area. Quiet area with just a five minute walk to Victoria's Legislative building.

We had a wonderful stay at Fisher House. Location was great, close to local restaurants and downtown Victoria. Jennifer is an amazing host and very helpful to us with recommendations on things to see, places to dine etc. Jennifer's breakfasts were excellent and different every day. Our room was spotless and had everything we needed. Thanks Jennifer and Cal!!

Best Breakfast EVER
My stay at Fisher House Bed and Breakfast was just perfect. First of all, the price was very reasonable. It was very conveniently located just a few blocks away from the ferry (10 minute walk). The house is well-maintained, clean, and cutely decorated. I stayed in Room #1 which had a balcony, private bathroom, and very comfortable King-size bed. I would highly recommend this room. But the best part of my stay? The BREAKFAST. Holy cannoli this may have been the best breakfast I've ever had. One morning we had frittata, the next day baked apple french toast, both days the entree was served with fruit, sausage, toast, coffee/tea, and juice.

Warm and welcoming owner and Sunday staff, beautiful home very accessible to Fisherman's Wharf and downtown area sites. Our queen bed and bath were very clean and comfortable. Charming home as a way to imagine living in Victoria in the early 1900s.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Fisher House. The accommodations were lovely, the hosts were terrific, and our needs were met. We're vegetarians so the delicious breakfast was made for our non-meat needs. In addition, we were on a bike trip and had to leave earlier than breakfast would be served, but Jennifer made sure our breakfast was ready at our requested time of 7:30. We'll stay at Fisher House again.

Wonderful B&B!
We had a great experience here! The room was very comfortable, breakfasts were delicious, and the location makes it easy to walk to any number of attractions. We'd definitely stay here again!! Only cons I can think of: limited parking on-site (we had to park a block away, not a huge deal), and the private bathroom was not connected to our room, but accessed through a shared hallway.

Jen is very friendly and accommodating as proprietor The space in the B&B available to guests is really welcoming and comfortable. The location is fantastic for visiting most sites on foot, and there are pubs and food shopping nearby. And yet the neighbourhood is lovely and quiet.

Friendly and comfortable B&B with a homey feel
Jen (and Calvin) made us welcome. We had the private suite, which was comfortable and clean. The stately old house is a beautifully done inside, with ornate area rugs over wood floors. The residential neighborhood was quiet, and nestled close to the harbor and other attractions. Jen asked for suggestions for our breakfast, to suit our tastes a little better, and provided nice snacks and hot and cold drinks for later. A big plus at the Fisher House was the common dining table, where we met other couples from around the country (and from England!) who had their own stories of Vancouver Island and of their travels, and who offered suggestions for activities. A wonderful stay altogether!

Sehr sauberes und hübsches Hotel in ruhiger Lage.
Wir können das Hotel bestens weiter empfehlen. Super Servive,sehr freundlich und sauberes Hotel. Ruhige Lage und sehr schön, da es auf altmodisch gemacht ist und es perfekt passt zu einem über 100 Jahre alten Haus.Man wird in die Zeit zurück versetzt. Immer wieder gerne. Schöne Zimmer und schön großes Bad. Breakfast sehr gut. TOP!!
