'Our group of 4 stayed two nights while visiting some distilleries. We immediately loved the property and it's spaciousness. It offered everything we needed for our weekend. The bars on the street below were noisy, but seemed to have a firm curfew that didn't go too late. Overall, we loved it and would definitely book again.'

'Buffalo Trace is our favorite distillery and we usual go and then leave to the next. This VRBO was the perfect location. When you walk in to VRBO, the bourbon style sets the mood for the weekend. The newly renovated VRBO was very clean and you feel comfortable immediately. I was disappointed when I reached out to the host during our stay because we were close to running out of toilet paper and I could not find any. After a couple of hours of not hearing, I ordered and bought my own toilet paper...

'We came in for a high school graduation and stayed here with our two kids. The property manager was very accommodating for both early check in and late check out which was very helpful. Everything was very clean and decorated perfectly with local decor - horses and bourbon. The beds were comfortable and our kids loved the “fancy bath”. We walked to a donut shop for breakfast. Kitchen was fully stocked. Parking was easy to find. No complaints!'

'If you are looking for a place to stay while visiting all the bourbon distilleries, this is it. Only 30 to 40 minutes at the most, both directions. Loft is clean and spacious. Just a heads up, the loft is above a Mexican restaurant, but the food there is great!'

'We absolutely loved staying in The Carriage! It was the perfect size for the two of us and the location was great; we walked all around the Capitol and it's grounds, historic downtown Frankfort, and to Andy's Artisan Bread each morning for pastries and coffee. The Carriage reminded us of a Parisian apartment and the neighborhood was incredibly quiet. We loved being so close to the various distilleries. Definitely coming back again!'

'Started with stay charging issues. Called VRBO to rectify charges, got an individual whose understanding of the English language was marginal at best. Reached out to property manager who got the billing corrected. Don’t recall anything in description telling us our rental was on the third floor. (We wouldn’t have rented it). With all the separate charges in the contract it ended up costing us more than our 4 star hotel in Savannah without the comps.'

'We stayed here after enjoying a day at Keeneland. We couldn't have picked a better place to stay!! The property is beautiful, and the owners have elevated every detail you'd expect in a boutique property. Our suite was spotless, comfortable, and quiet. Vallozzi’s is a short walk across the street. 'I met my 8 girlfriends from college in central Kentucky. The Havilah House was the perfect location for keeneland and bourbon tours and halfway between the bluegrass and Louisville airports. 'The code was showing on the wall next to the door which made us feel less than safe. I tried to contact the owner and he never responded. The sofa smelt like someone peed in it. The bedroom close to the kitchen had a mold smell. But the most worrying issue was the shower that was in the bathtub was on a platform with no rail to hold on to in order to get out safely. Otherwise we enjoyed the house.'
