The front desk guy is a real big jerk. I am on a road trip from Colorado. I accidentally booked at a wrong location and was trying to figure it out. He got mad, told me to take a seat. I told him I had two service dogs when I checked in. He gave us an attitude when he saw my dad and I walk in with two service dogs. The room smelled like a bad musty smell. The front desk guy was giving everyone an attitude, gave some senior citizen who was a veteran an attitude as well. This guy does not belong in hospitality. The breakfast was awful, the yogurt was expired by at least 20 days. 0/10 do not recommended. Save your money and stay somewhere else

The card keys for the door struggled upon first use and three had to be re-keyed by morning. This happens every time and the keys were not confused between the three rooms. The blow dryer did not work in room 202. Without checking, the desk clerk did not grant even one room for a late check out.

The property was only fair, usually there is a table in the lobby with water etc for travelers- empty; Walcott was in the midst of 100 temperatures, and there was NO ice in any of the machines, we checked all 3 floors! Had to go to Iowa 80 to get ice for our tumblers. Also the soda machines near the ice machines were empty, no bottled water offered at breakfast and whatever breakfast food was there seemed sparse and unappealing. We ate breakfast elsewhere....the main complaint was the fact that there was NO ICE!

The room was very clean and overall hotel was clean. The staff not very knowledgeable about the area. The breakfast was horrible the eggs and sausage were refrigerator cold even in the warmer so cold the chews looked like it just came from the wrapper the waffle batter was watered down very little selection of food no fruit no toast breafast need help the beds and pillows were worn down pretty bad.

I was not satisfied they shut off the hot water a 12 o'clock I came out of visitation for my aunts funeral. when i got back to the room there was no tv or hot water. Bedbugs and Lies ....
We rented three rooms for our family. Two of the rooms were clean and comfortable. The third room had bedbugs, of which my son took both pictures and video. We presented our findings to the front desk personnel, who synced his phone to capture the video. I asked for a refund for ONLY that room, and was assured it was forthcoming. Our stay was on January 9th. No refund received. If they intended not to refund us, they should have said so instead of lying. We stayed at two different Comfort Inn and Suites on this trip ....six rooms for three nights. I had greqt service and excellent rooms in Mountain Iron .... But I will have to consider a different hotel chain to give my business .... Your representation in Walcott, IA is neither honorable nor honest. How can you make this right?

This property has not been maintained, it’s filthy all over from rooms, bedding, towels, carpets, light switches to even the tray that the coffee pot sits on in the room. Carpets had horrible very visible stains. Would not recommend this place at all.

Check in was not great. Arrived late at night and what i booked through Hotels.com is not what we got. Could not get my card to register for encidentals, even though it was the same card I paid with. Not a bad place to stay
Staff was friendly and helpful. Room was overall nice. Bathroom needs some work with grouting the ceiling fan was very noisy. Pool was good after a long drive. You have to drive through the 18 wheeler parking lot to reach the hotel some rather large holes to navigate around.
