A home base for exploring Walla Walla
The four of us are retired geology professors who enjoy wine and golf and good food, and this home has great access to all three. Very clean and well maintained home, this is a classic craftsman from the early 1900's with lots of beautiful hardwood and trim throughout. The home has four bedrooms (plus room for additional sleepers) plus a full bath all levels (three total) - comfortable beds and lots of outlets for everyone's charger habit. Kitchen was well appointed with all the modern conveniences, and there is a back deck, patio, and yard with gas grill (was too chilly for us this time). It's maybe a mile's walk to downtown. The neighborhood is full of similarly well kept period homes - I think we also hit peak flowering dogwood time as there are beautiful old and large flowering dogwoods all around this neighborhood and beyond. Quick and simple access to both the southside and eastside/airport wineries. We hope to be back!

Wine Tasting Getaway with Europe Travel Friends
We stayed here 8 years ago. It is exactly the same. It was still a good place for our group of travel friends from Oregon and Washington. The house isn't upscale at all. Cozy is probably the best description. The kitchen is fully equipped. The welcome wine was a nice touch. We wish that it had more living room seating so that all 6 of us could visit comfortably to chat. We were all able to sit around the large kitchen table, but couches and comfy chairs would've been better. Other than that, it was still a good place.

Comfy stay in wine country
The house was amazingly well stocked with everything you might want on a vacation. There is a little bit of a musty smell as you walk in the front door, but it is an old house and it quickly dissipates with the doors and windows open. There is tons of space For together time and getting away from each other time. The fenced backyard was fabulous for our fur babies. Neighborhood is great only minutes from downtown Walla Walla and walking around the neighborhood. Seeing the great old homes was fun. Great Communication with the owner. We will definitely be back!

Perfect home for multiple couples.
The property was perfect for what we needed (4 couples). Loved the back patio for early morning coffee. Was walking distance to Main Street but we drove most times because it was hot. Top floor could use fan on hot days even with air conditioning but opened windows for night air.

Lovely charming home
My husband and I rented this charming house for a weekend in October with two other couples. The house was very well equipped with all essentials. There are cute little seating areas for some quiet time, a fully fenced yard for the dogs, and great entertaining spaces as well. The bedrooms are spacious and so cozy, and the house has three full bathrooms. Location is walking distance to downtown. We loved getting up early and taking the dogs on long walks around the town. The host was so easy to get in touch with and the instructions were all very clear. We had no issues at all and we had a truly lovely stay.

Well-equipped, great location, super cute, fabulous host
From before we arrived, this was a great experience. The host let us know in June that she had been informed of road construction planned on the street while we were due to be there in September and offered the opportunity to cancel. There were more construction updates the day before we left, which she shared with me. It all turned out just fine, and we had a lovely stay. The house is adorable. Having bedrooms on three levels gave our group of five a great deal of privacy. Plus, there are at least four spaces (one w/ a TV) where one could read or have a conversation. Regarding Walla Walla, we encountered the most friendly, attentive service everywhere we went (wineries, restaurants, stores). We're already planning our trip next year.

Comfortable and spacious home
This home is spacious, comfortable, clean, and well-maintained.The kitchen is well-stocked. There is plenty of room for 3 couples -- with at least one bedroom and bath on each floor and in the large basement. (As in many older homes, the stairs are steep, though.) It is located in a lovely walkable neighborhood, about a 25-minute brisk walk from downtown restaurants and tasting rooms. Highly recommended!

Great stay in a spacious house
We had a great time staying at this property. It was clean and had everything we needed. Lots of space for our big group of 6 adults, two kids, and dog. There was a little traffic noise from the street at night, but nothing too loud or disruptive. Looking forward to staying there again sometime soon!

Felt Like Home
My sister, bother and I, along with our spouses stayed here for one week while having early Thanksgiving with our mom, who lives in Walla Walla. We also had other family visit from Seattle. The house was perfect for a big group of adults. The house had many of it’s original craftsman features but updated to today’s standards. The living, dining and kitchen were open to each other so we could all be together and flow in and out of conversations. There was also a second main floor living room where we had a 1000 piece puzzle set up and was perfect for a quiet reading space (but you could still hear what was going on if you wanted to) There was another large living area with a television in the basement (with lots of natural light) that was perfect for watching football, etc. The four bedrooms were spread out on three floors for great privacy. It was in the 20’s the whole time we were there so the 2 fireplaces were perfect. So cozy and warm. One night we had nine for dinner and there were extra table leaves and enough dining chairs for all without being crowded at all. The kitchen had everything we needed and more. And a second fridge downstairs. Tons of dishes and silverware, serving dishes, etc. that were high quality. Nothing was “rental house” quality. Everything was first class. Central location and wonderful neighborhood for walking among huge trees with gorgeous fall leaves. We would absolutely stay here again.

We loved this house and neighborhood. This was our first vacation in Walla Walla (we were visiting family in twi-cities) The house had more space than we needed so it was a luxury. So close to shops, cafes and wine testing and the beautiful district of historic homes. Fenced backyard was perfect for our poodle. Hope to stay here again.

Perfect size and number of bedrooms. Good location. Comfortably furnished. Well stocked with extra linens. Nice laundry area. Unfortunately house was not well cleaned. Dust bunnies on floors and Kitchen appliances and drawers were dirty. The ice maker and water spout were clogged with ice. Some electrical outlets did not work.

Whitman Move in Weekend
We moved our daughter in to Whitman College this weekend. The property was great - We were able to have several of her friends and friends parents over for dinner one night. The kitchen and dining room where great for entertaining. The Property is also pet friendly and has a great fenced in back yard. We would definitely stay again!

Beautiful house with lots of little spaces to visit with friends and family. Someone for everyone - my mother-in-law loved the four poster bed and beautiful dark wood, our friends loved the back yard, grill, and more fully stocked than my own kitchen kitchen. About a 15 minute walk to downtown Walla and 10 minute drive (or 30 minute bike ride) to wineries on the south end. Our dogs loved the fenced yard which was also beautifully maintained. Bonus was wine themed stuff, from books to dvds! I can’t wait to stay again!

Wonderful Wine Weekend
This property is fantastic for a group of friends that went wine tasting around the Walla Walla area for the weekend. Love the fact that it is close enough to walk to some of the tasting rooms right in town. The home easily accommodates four couples and is decorated tastefully with a great outdoor area when the weather permits.

Amazing Downtown Property
What an amazing experience. This home was perfect for my wife's birthday weekend in Walla Walla. There was plenty of room for our group of 6 and the house was super clean and accommodating. We stayed in and cooked at the house and it was well equipped with everything needed to make yourself at home. It is in a great part of town and close to downtown and easy access to get out to the wineries. The host was very attentive and easy to communicate with. We will definitely rent this home again.

Thanksgiving stay
The house was cozy & had an amazing kitchen. Every utensil imaginable, along with spices, oil, & coffee. The bedrooms were spread out so everyone had a lot of privacy. We liked the tv being downstairs so sitting on the main floor around the fire , playing games at the dinning table, & visiting could be done without the extra noise. It had two refrigerators & a washer/dryer. Laundry soap was provided. We would definitely stay there again.
