Moldy Musty Mess
The smell was unbelievably musty. Even with three air conditioners on at the lowest temperature setting the smell was over bearing. The living room was bright and spacious but the shower head was a rusty spigot. All of our clothing quickly became most and musty.The refrigerator was barely functional and old and the microwave had rusted patches inside it the only thing positive I could say is that we were able to bring our dogs with a hefty daily fee to stay in this dump . This was the first vacation our family took in the past four years never again ! The property manager was limited in their helpfulness. We did get a new showerhead, but basically the handyman said we don’t own these properties and if the owners do not want to spend the money, there’s nothing we can do well I say you should not except homes to manage if they will not keep up a basic level of hygiene. The walls were yellow and they were streaks of dead bugs and blood all over the bedroom and bathroom and hall walls.

I regret to learn that your stay did not meet your expectations. I apologize for the musty smell and issues with the refrigerator. Please be assured we have taken the necessary measures to address both the smell and the overall condition of the property to enhance the experience for future guests. I am also sorry to hear you felt we were unhelpful. I always want our guests to feel they can utilize our company and our resources to improve their stay, so I apologize if this was not the case for you. Nonetheless, I am pleased that we could promptly replace the shower head for you during your stay. Despite the challenges, I hope you would consider staying with us again in the future, providing me with the opportunity to deliver the 5-star experience that I strive to offer to all our guests.

Great location
Well loved property was clean and comfortable. Close to Wellfleet and the outer Cape. We enjoyed our stay. Only down side was the very steep driveway but we figured it out. Thanks again!

Lovely home. Great location
I enjoyed my week in this lovely home. It was one of the cleanest vacation rentals I have ever experienced. The living area is large and bright. The bedrooms are small but the bed very comfortable with clean, white sheets and towels. The bathroom was very clean and the shower is hot and strong. Yes the driveway is steep but not difficult if you’re careful so don’t let this deter you. The location is a quiet street and a short drive to beaches, downtown and restaurants.

Nice house with room for improvement
The large, sunny main room in this house is as lovely as it looks in the pictures, but the rest of the house is less inviting. There is barely any yard (the house is on a steep hill) and no real porch, just a small bricked-over area; the bathroom and kitchen have seen better days and could use all-around maintenance; and the outdoor shower is not enclosed and only has cold water, which makes it fine for washing feet, but not comfortable for actually showering. Also, no washer/dryer (to be fair, we were warned!) The management company was very responsive when we asked them to fix a few things. We also appreciated the box A/C's in the bedroom and the many fans, since we were there at a very hot time. Another upside: While the house itself is on a street with lots of passing cars, it's just minutes away from a quiet, beautiful marsh and a wooded nature area. I took peaceful walks every day.

Enjoyed our stay
We really enjoyed our stay and it the hiuse was exactly what we were looking for, for a low key stay. There is plenty of living room space. But the bedrooms are a but small. The bathroom could do with a bit of an upgrade and there appears to me mold on some of the tiles, but the water pressure in the shower is great and the water is hot. All in all for an off season stay in Wellfleet it was great, we would rent this property again.

Almost perfect stay
Location excellent. Very nice accommodation. We loved the openness of the big living room. Well-stocked kitchen. Suggestions: We came toward end of Sept. & no heat available, so turn heat on earlier, more clarity needed to find the location (the address you most often printed on sent material wasn't that of the house but of the realty location, so confusion), the key box to find the house key was not amply explained or clearly labeled (there are 3 boxes and only one is the right one - you need to go over the marker label writing as it has faded & smeared over time), and the most needed follow-up improvement concerns the steep driveway. A modern car (sedan) like ours got scraped underneath so severely (exiting down VERY slowly) that we had to park below the house after that on the side of the road because the up-down of that treacherous, unsafe driveway would obviously damage our car & made entry onto the main road dangerous -- work definitely needed on the abruptness of where the driveway meets the road by building it up and adding some asphalt or pavers to make the slope less drastic & more gradual at the meeting with the road. This problem needs to be worked on to keep the visitors' cars from damage and alleviate the danger at the bottom intersection with cars coming along the road.

Quiet and Calm
Our stay at this place was really nice. It was very relaxing and clean. Everything worked fine and we enjoyed the wood burning fireplace. The bed wasn't super comfortable but it was very clean. When we first arrived we noticed the front door was unlocked. It made us a little uneasy, so we checked all the rooms and closets. My biggest recommendation for this place would be to install curtains or blinds at the sliding door and the dining area windows. At night time, anyone can look inside the house and it being a secluded place, can make it very uncomfortable. There were 3 places that explained checkout instructions. The binder on the table, the sign above the desk and the email from the landlord. This is very confusing as each one had different things listed. Please have 1 or 2 and have them match so guests know what to clean and what they dont have to worry about. Overall, it was awesome! 8 out of 10

Wellfleet Lover
Great home and location. Just 5-10 minutes to surrounding beaches and restaurant. Located in a quiet neighborhood, we did not encounter any neighbors on either side of us. The best feature of the home is the extra large living room with NetFlix. There's A/C in the two bedrooms but not the main house. We we kept the fans running most of the time. Two small bedrooms with comfortable beds, nice sheets & bedding. Pack your own pillows if you don't care for flat ones. Kitchen was adequate, stocked with glasses, plates and pans with a basic $10 coffee maker. Excellent response with management company. Would stay at this home again. It was a wonderful week at Wellfleet.

Quiet but close to everything

A well maintained property inside and out
Was a great experience, just two minor things ( Don’t want to call them complaints) shower was slippery without shower mat, and checkout time a little early. Neither of those two things would stop me from returning.

Had a GREAT time!
We could definitely tell that the place has been recently updated, with brand new furniture, bedding, decorations, and TV's. Everything we wanted in a rental, this place had, and for the price, you can't beat it!
