'We were in Carlisle for a funeral for the mother of a close friend. The location was very convenient to where we needed to be and there is a restaurant across the road that has a wonderful breakfast! Rob was very helpful and was going to meet us but we arrived in town later than we expected so he just gave us the door code and then we called him when we got there and he went over everything pertaining to the tv and other things on the phone with my husband, if you are traveling with animals...

'Loved the home. The owner was quick to respond. Very spacious. We didn't have time to be outdoor but the front was cute with its firepit and chair. I don't know about the backyard there a huge from where we saw out the kitchen window. The supermarket, pharmacy,,gas station fast food was about 10 minutes away.'

'Our club held it's Annual Business Meeting here and the accommodations were perfect. The Host is friendly and gracious and attended to every detail. "Sleeps 24" might be a stretch but 12 adults were quite comfortable. Just minutes from everything that Gettysburg has to offer, it truly is A 'Suite' Place to Crash!'

It was a safe quiet neighborhood about 20 minutes from the park. As others have mentioned, the stairs are steep and the downstairs much colder than upstairs but overall it was exactly what we needed, would stay here again.'

'We stayed 2 nights over Memorial Day weekend for a belated 16th Birthday for my daughter. We brought 6 of her friends and they had an amazing time in the pool, the hot tub, and hanging out in the spacious bottom floor. The host, Andrea, was extremely helpful in helping us find a great pizza place for them and made sure everything was perfect for them. Would 100% stay there again!'

'We booked this place in New Oxford for Mom's Day Weekend. A great location to Gettysburg. It is about 15 min (straight on Rt 30 W) to the town square in Gettysburg. about 20 min to the Visitor's Center/Battlefields. The house had vintage charm, along with the new addition of kitchen and living area. The kitchen was stocked with any kitchen essentials you need, and due to the giant size of the kitchen, cabinets were labeled. The jetted tub works great! WIFI there was no issue. 'Overall this place was exactly how I imagined. Big enough for 8 guys, some sharing beds. The outdoor amenities and yard was perfect for yard games, grilling and hangin out.'

'The cabin has all the comforts of a house and all the charm of a rustic cabin. It’s extremely old, so there are all the cool old house eccentricities you’d expect. The house is full of taxidermied animals, including an amazing sculpture of two mountain goats in mid-prance. It’s like a museum, and sort of a shrine to hunting.
