'Stayed here while looking for a place for our son in Alexandria, which was about 45 minutes away by car with traffic, but this place is well worth the drive since it is a beautifully appointed unit above the owner's 2nd garage and an exclusive neighborhood in Manases. Monica and David, the owners, were great! Highly recommend!'

'The Ivy Mansion is a beautiful brownstone building that is effectively a four unit bed and breakfast. It is truly mansion sized, with a lovely and comfy ground floor with a full kitchen that you are welcome to use. I will say that the listing says that it is 8.8 miles from Leesburg VA (which is where my friends and I were visiting) but that is not entirely accurate- there IS a ferry you can take across that maybe makes that number true but if you are an out of towner and are planning on just driving GPS style it ACTUALLY takes about 25-30 minutes to drive into town.
