'A cozy clean cabin in beautiful quiet setting. It’s on world class trout stream so there for decorated in a cute but cornball way with fishing fishing fishing as a theme. Big deck , off back & 2 good size bedrooms & nice big bathroom No TV but food WiFi . Very disappointing no fire pit or fire ring. ? Plenty of room , not sure why. The only negative is the dirty dusty musty living room windows , desperately need of being cleaned or better yet replaced. This a lovely spot '

'We use this beautiful property as our homebase for exploring the beautiful area surrounding Lafarge. The beds were very comfortable and the living room furniture was also comfortable and spacious. The kitchen had everything we needed and most importantly the house was very clean. This is a nice quiet location with a beautiful deck to enjoy morning coffee on.'

'We absolutely loved this property! The communication was excellent. We did not spend too much time in the home as we had a wedding, but it was wonderful and I highly recommend. My only suggestion is to get a basic first aid kit! I hit my hand and couldn’t find a bandaid, but that was the only thing. Still 11/10.'

'The property has an interesting location, but once you get inside, you’re in awe! Not only is it a beautiful home, but it’s the cleanest maintained property I’ve ever stayed at. The owners have every conceivable item provided for you inside the property. There are snacks put out in a very welcoming way, only to discover farm fresh eggs, beverages, and other food items all provided for our comfort and convenience. There are even toiletries set up in the bathroom closet, just in case you forgot...

'Artist Retreat was as listed. Beautiful location, well stocked with everything needed. Fall colors were great. We were too late in the year for the flowers and plantings but it would be beautiful in Spring and Summer. Recommend for Seniors: nice access to the upstairs bedroom. Easy staircase up with easy access to deck. We enjoyed our stay!'

We enjoyed the picturesque backyard with tree lines, and being able to watch wildlife and relax. We truly recommend this vacation home and give it 5 stars!'

'Very clean, very well kept up. Lots of space. We’re a group of quilter friends from three different areas of WI. Windmill Retreat is the perfect meeting spot for us. It’s location is equal distance from each of our homes. This was our second stay here (3rd for one of us). Plan on coming again next year.'
