'Lovely hotel in a prime position to explore the Lakes.'

'We stayed in one of their 2 Viken lodges. It was huge and easily big enough to accommodate all of us with loads of space for kids to run about and explore. Floor to ceiling Windows and and a gabled roof gave stunning views down the valley to the estuary from both floors. The accommodation was modern and stylish and even had its own sauna. 'This hotel and the people working in it, need a complete remake. Nothing works well, the interior is old and worn out, the bed was too small and very uncomfortable. The only way this hotel has more than 1 star is because they have a big family and many friends putting their vote in.'

'Upon arrival there were a couple of issues. The efficient and friendly staff resolved any problems and ensured they would be addressed. The food was fabulous . Could not fault the service.'
