Property was clean. There were state police looking for someone in hotel when we got there which was weird and worrisome. We were in the area for a family members college graduation and not familiar with the area at all. There is a Sheetz directly next door so if needed that would be convenient. We checked in at about 6:30 pm and checked out next morning at 10am. Nothing special about the room. Dated but clean. Husband did go down for breakfast and said it was horrible, worst ever. Most likely wouldn’t stay again since there are so many other options and we paid extremely too much for the stay, but again, we weren’t familiar with the area.

This would have gotten all five stars except for an experience we had with the front desk. When we got to the hotel we had a room on the third floor. We told them we had two dogs and would need a room on the first floor. They were fine with that. The next day when we came back from being out, our keys did not work. We took them to the front desk and were told that we were supposed to tell them we had 2 dogs and that there was a fee. First of all, we did tell them when we checked in. We are used to the room fee because we travel with them all the time. That is why we changed our room. Second, they said this in front of other people in the hotel lobby, and it was very embarrassing for us. Third, one of our dogs does not bark. How did they know we had 2 dogs unless someone entered our room despite there being a Do Not Disturb sign on the door? This is very concerning. Fourth, there was no apology once they realized their mistake. This is just bad business.

The front desk staff was very friendly and the room was spacious and clean. We did not appreciate housekeeping running the vacuum in the hallway at 9:15. Housekeeping also knocked on the door at 10:20 to find out if we were leaving...when checkout is at noon! Completely inappropriate!

Pros: The hotel was easy to get to and had lots to offer in the area. The front desk staff was very friendly, knowledgeable, and easy to understand. The breakfast offered was over-the-top! Cons: the hand railing and ladder going into the pool were loose. Cleaning staff entered our room even though we had not checked out-we were merely at the pool! The side of our sheet had a blood spot on it! It was right in plain view and bright red, so the cleaning staff should have seen it when making the bed.

We had such friendly staff greet us as we arrived late at night for check in. Our room cards were ready for us and check in was simple and smooth! Breakfast was delicious. There was a constant rotation of hot coffee available which was very convenient for me. Highly recommend this hotel!

The room was clean and the bed was really comfortable. The shower had good water pressure and the shower head worked great. The staff were very friendly. The breakfast included many good healthy options. Overall this was a very good value.

Cold Shower Ruins Trip
Visiting family in the area for Christmas was somewhat spoiled when there was no hot water for showers. This hotel put some type of limiter on their shower water adjuster that barely take the chill off the ice cold water. Shameful way to reduce cost at the cost of the customer experience. I will choose to stay elsewhere for our next visit.

Comfortable and quiet room. Conveniently located close to other businesses and restaurants. Breakfast selections were on par with other hotels of this calibre. An uneventful stay that one would expect from this hotel chain.
