'I grew up in Shamokin so I understand most of the homes are historically old and many are row houses. The host does a wonderful job of making the home feel welcoming. Loved the decor and fun layout. The bathroom is large and clean with great water pressure; that's always a bonus. ;)'

'Me and my two friends stayed here for the weekend. It was a lovely home and had all the amenities we could have asked for. We had a fire on Friday. We brought our own wood because we weren’t sure if there was going to be wood available for us to use and to our surprise there was. We hiked all day on Saturday and then came back to the warmth of the house in the evening. We would definitely stay again.'

The house has plenty of space to spread out especially when the weather is nice with the long deck overlooking the winery. The hosts were responsive and addressed a small issue quickly. Bathrooms were well stocked. Good water pressure except in the master bath shower. Kitchen had everything you could possibly want. All in all a great family trip.'

'Our extended family celebrated grandpa’s 70th birthday with a group of 12 ages 3 to 70. We all had a great time! The house was perfect with room for everyone. The indoor pool and hot tub were ready for us when we got there. They were a huge hit. There are plenty of pool toys available. The kitchen was very well stocked with everything you need for a large group. We brought precooked dinners with us. There are also two gas grills outside. 'We stayed here for the Penn State vs Michigan game. It was 4 of us so sleeping arrangements were perfect. Great communication with the owner as we had a little trouble with figuring out WiFi and the tv. Lower level definitely chilly but my husband loved it. House was clean and in a great location.'
