'I was VERY lucky to find a room at Lareau Farm Inn a week before the solar eclipse on April 8th, and at a most reasonable price. My luck aside, we enjoyed the rustic decor and settings of this inn; we especially appreciated the hospitality of the staff and the yummy cook-to-order breakfast offerings included. '

'The hosts are welcoming, the B&B is cozy and clean, and the breakfast is delicious. This is an old house from the 1800’s with all the charm you would expect, but completely renovated to have all the modern conveniences and very clean. The wood burning fireplace is so inviting. 'This could not have been a more wonderful stay. The manor house is beautiful as are the grounds. The deck overlooks the lake with a lovely path that leads to a dock. Breakfast on the deck was simply joyful. The rooms are well appointed and very clean and tidy. Breakfast was home cooked with fresh and local ingredients. Bring a bottle of wine with you for an evening taking in the fresh air and lake views. The owners are lovely and have thought of everything their guests will need. This is a must...

'Bud was very hospitable and overall great! Externally, very aesthetic and inviting. The interior can definitely use some TLC, but it really also depends on your expectations. It’s a country house so don’t expect anything lavish or over the top. Another reviewer wrote that it’s like staying at grandma’s. Couldn’t agree more. If you like trendy and fancy, this is not the place. If you like rustic, quiet and low key- this will do the job. We enjoyed our stay. '

'Location is good close to ben en Jerry's factory and Stowe. Interior is old and smells stuffy and humid. Matresses are covered with plastic and are very uncomfortable. Owners live on the premisses and are helpful. '
