'We came for a high school graduation in Tullahoma, and this was a great spot to lay our heads! Beds were comfortable, bathrooms spacious, and we had everything we needed. Great spot, and we loved feeling like we were on vacation in the mountains. Loved the screened back porch especially!'

'Home and dock as described! More than well equipped for a fun family escape! Spacious, bright, well laid out! While we chose to walk the short distance between the home and dock, as great bonding /conversation time, if you have small children or others with ailments I would encourage renting the golf cart. We will definitely rent again.'

'My family and I have stayed 3 times at the lake house over the past 2 years. The home is consistently clean. The host is quick to respond and very accommodating! One of our favorite things about The Hickory Hideaway is the open floor plan, wonderful lake view, and well stocked kitchen. We plan to return!'

'10 of us headed to unknown terrirtory--stayed in Sewanee to attend a concert (Irish band "Altan") at The Caverns. We wanted a place we could all be together (ha, we travel in a herd) and wanted a place where we would not disturb anyone as we love our music, competitive games (ha). This place was PERFECT! Extra clean, plenty of room, clear on what we needed to do on arrival/departure. Kathryn, property manager, was an awesome communicator, and appreciated her efforts in finding places to eat--we...

'Cute house! Perfect for 3 and wonderful location! Needs a good deep cleaning to clear spider webs, dust and scuff marks throughout. But those are very minor. Would definitely recommend and hope to rent it again!'

Beautiful area and would highly recommend you bring or rent a boat during your stay. The steps from the water/dock back up to the house are visually overwhelming but built very sturdy and safe with plenty of landings to stop and admire the surroundings.'

This cottage emulates what is so special about Sewanee….a chance to get away from the fast paced world and slow down to enjoy God’s creation, with belived family and friends. 'We stayed here for a staff retreat and comfortably had 10 people stay. It's spacious, beautiful, and clean, and the layout is awesome. There's a grocery store nearby for quick runs and close to pickleball courts and hiking. It's right on the lake with an awesome back yard and deck to make mornings and evenings extra great.'
