The pre-check-in was unusual - a background check requesting photos of a driver’s license and a selfie as part of a background check seemed too much. I did not want to provide a photo of my ID and a selfie online. Overall, a very nice place and I enjoyed my stay'

'Locatie is goed. Omgeving van de 2/3 straten er omheen is prima, ziet er een beetje vervallen uit. Maar we voelden ons veilig genoeg. Op loopafstand van alle spots die je wil bezoeken als toerist. Er waren veel voorzieningen die in de kamer (studio), wasmachine,droger, strijkplank, volledige keuken met grote koelkast, vriezer, magnetron en broodrooster. Kamer en het gebouw hebben een Mooi en hip desig. Rooftop had een geweldig uitzicht. Enige nadeel was dat de gym/gezamenlijke ruimte/rooftop...

'The Sloan in Philly was perfect for our visit to UPenn. The location was perfect. It was a couple blocks to the campus and metro station. The hotel had everything we needed and more. Plus the app made communication very easy with the chat feature. I loved the security to get into the building as well. '

'Overall it was fine. There are no close convenient stores or similar so the “not so stocked” kitchen can’t be utilized for a 3-day stay. Frustrating that there is not a close spot to get the essentials. One of the appliances didn’t work. But the bed was comfortable and the room was a nice size. It was a bit noisy at times but I think that is just the area.'

'Excellent place to stay with everything one needs for a long or a short stay. Super fast WiFi and a new smart TV were most welcome. The place was very clean and was most comfortable. We found some great eating spots just a five minutes walk (try Race St Cafe or Khyber Pass) and parking was just two blocks away and we felt at $30:00 a day a fair value. '

'This property was even nicer than the photographs suggested. We loved being in this loft area of Old City/Northern Liberties...Parking is understandably tricky so give yourself time to calmly look for street parking or find nearby parking lots. We loved it. We will be back!'

'We did not stay there, we had to get home because of flooding in Vermont. Multiple attempts to cancel by phone and website failed to connect so, unfortunately, we were no shows.'

'I don’t have many complaints about our stay. Communication with the owner was pretty seamless and location was really convenient; however, there were a few things I was disappointed by. The shower doesn’t have a curtain or door so it was always overflowing the floor with water, there was no AC in this unit—despite the ceiling fan sometimes it could get really hot in the room, and I was expecting an apartment style based on the listing but it was more of a “hotel room” vibe.
