'Cute chalet with awesome views in quiet neighborhood. There was surprisingly more room than what we had anticipated with sleeping accommodations on the 3rd floor and lower level. I loved taking a morning walk with the view of Steamboat Village and Sleeping Giant in the background. Even saw a moose the first day!'

'We had a wonderful stay at the Escape Chalet! It’s far and away the best rental we’ve stayed at in the area-clean, cozy yet spacious and incredibly well-appointed. The location is wonderful and communication with the host was easy and thorough. Would love to stay again!'

'While it’s not ski in ski out, it’s only an easy 5 minute walk to the slopes. Plenty of room for our family of 4 plus a friend one night. Kitchen had enough pots and pans but no spices or foil or anything. Not a problem, but would like to let others know to bring salt and pepper if they can or want to. Front desk was very nice and helpful. Will definitely stay here again - hopefully the other units are as good if this one is not available. Third floor was not a big deal without an elevator....

'So much fun being in Steamboat during the summer. Lots to do for all ages and tons of places to eat! Highly recommend this lodge. It’s close to the village and very accessible to roads for getting out and about. No A/C but no surprise there. Just keep the fans on and windows open! It gets cool in the evenings.'

'The location and the shuttle were convenient to the mountain. The condo itself was old shabby and tired. The beds were uncomfortable. The furniture was worn. The kitchen was horrible. There were no sharp knives. Cabinets were falling apart. This condo needs a complete overhaul.'

'Just like it says, this is a magnificent mountain retreat. We stayed up there over Labor day weekend. There were 28 of us. The two homes fit our family perfectly. Both homes boasted a large kitchen that was perfect for feeding our large group. Great views. Hot tubs were great for the evenings. Plenty of space in both units. We would highly recommend staying here and would love to come back! Management was great as well and communicated thoroughly.'
