'Gary and Kimberly’s place is fantastic! Beautiful setting, great location in Oakhurst, close to Yosemite and Bass Lake. It was a pleasant surprise to find such a beautiful and well furnished place to stay. The facilities were great, and it was like a home away from home, and in some ways even better. 'I booked this cabin for a family trip to Yosemite, and this was my first time using VRBO. The communication with the property’s owner was great. I received all of the information in advance of my stay. The cabin is centrally located right in Yosemite, only 30 minutes from Oakhurst and Yosemite Valley. My family always meets up and stays in a vacation rental and this is the first time we didn’t have everything we needed in the kitchen of a rental. It would be fine for minimal cooking. 'When we walked it we could tell lots of thought went into this fun place. We loved the huge kitchen and the theater area was amazing for movies. The kids loved the arcade area and the play rooms. Beds were comfortable and rooms decorated with the rustic look I love. We went out in the evening to the fire pit and enjoyed our hot chocolate and told stories. We appreciated that the cottage was dog friendly and was in a quiet neighborhood. Lewis creek was an added bonus. It is not a far drive into Yosemite and was perfect for our stay.
