'This riverfront cabin was just right for our family of six. Modern rustic appeal and very well-furnished kitchen. There were plenty of comfy beds for our crew. Kids had fun using the kayaks and rowboat for many hours on the river. Two outdoor grills, screened porch, and bags game, all in a private secluded spot along the river. 'Everything about this place is amazing. It is the definition of Northwoods and has a fantastic history behind it. We really enjoyed the small perks that it came with, toiletries that may have been forgotten, first aid equipment, baking supplies, games and movies. The TV was a little difficult to figure out, as someone who doesn't use cable. We are definitely making plans to come back in the future.'

'Generally great with a couple of nits for those traveling with infants and toddlers. One was on cleanliness - had some dust around beds that we needed to proactively vacuum (there was one provided) given our younger son is very exploratory, and we observed some mold in the washing machine as well. Second is that the spiral staircase is slightly hazardous for young kids who may be able to slip between balusters. But otherwise, location is beautiful and we enjoyed our stay.'

'We booked this home for a short Anniversary getaway near where some family and friends are. We love the upnorth relaxed feel. Everything was as stated on the booking website. Clean, beautiful, cozy place. Loved the back deck area and river view. Everything was very nice and check in and out was super easy. Would love to stay here again sometime. Bed and furniture was comfy and we had everything we could of ever needed for our stay. Thanks so much!'

'We enjoyed our stay here. The property manager was very prompt in addressing some difficulties checking in. We had 4 adults and 2 kids and the sleeping arrangements were a bit tight, but there was space for everyone. The location is wonderful. Great spot to sit outside or check out the river or swing on the tree swing or build a fire. The kitchen was well stocked with utensils to make all our meals as well.'

'Property is currently under renovation which we were told about but didn’t affect us but good to see since the property appears to need it. Room is to be expected, little small but did the job to sleep in and take a shower. Didn’t use the pool area but appeared nice. Breakfast was nice, something to eat.
