'This gorgeous home was the perfect place to get away for the weekend. Pristine home with modern amenities but also access to the peace of nature. Sunsets bloomed from the expansive views. Walking trails gave us room to explore. Would definitely visit again.'

'This property is a great option to host friends or family in La Crosse! Our group was all alumni and we decided to come back to town for the beer wine and cheese fest. The house was bigger than expected, it had a great yard, the kitchen and bathrooms were well stocked, and it was a walkable distance from downtown. Not to mention affordable, especially compared to hotel prices during event weekends. We will definitely be staying here again for future alumni get togethers.'

'We were in town visiting sick family and unfortunately spent most of our time at the hospital. The home was located within 15 mins of UW Hospital and many local restaurants and shopping. The home had plenty of bedrooms and space if traveling with a larger group. We did take our dog and though there isn’t much yard space the neighborhood is great for a walk. Very safe and quiet. The only negative to the house would be the stairs if anyone has mobility issues. You have to do stairs to get to...

'Our stay at the Pink Acorn was amazing! Kelly truly makes her guests feel welcome. She left a sweet note and lovely treats. The house is stocked with everything you need and was exceptionally clean. The beds are super comfortable and have nice cozy blankets. Am added bonus was seeing rabbits and chipmunks in the backyard. Kelly leaves directions to walk to the beach around the corner and it’s a must do…and make sure to grab some ice cream at the shop across from the park.'

'Loved the mansion! We were able to have a little post graduation soirée with our family and a few of my sons friends as their last goodbye after graduation. We played games on the porch in the balmy spring air and fantasized what generations had done the same for decades prior. It was perfect!'

'The place was great. We enjoyed our stay. We traveled from Texas. Only a couple of issues during our stay. The first night the water heater was off and had to take a cold shower. It worked fine the remainder of the visit. Also, the smoke alarm beeped needing new batteries, which couldn’t be foreseen by the property owner. Also would have been nice to have a couple of more aminities like coffee and shampoo.'

The host was easy to get in touch with and they provided wonderful little touches for us throughout the house. Check-in/out was super simple and having a driveway to park in was great.
