I have stayed at Flamingo Cancun 8 times over the past 30 years. The bigger resorts are swankier, but i like the smaller size of Flamingo. I'm not worn out walking back & forth from my room to the beach.

Cancún en si ya es garantía para admirar sus bellezas, el hotel si bien es una construcción con cierto tiempo se ve con buen mantenimiento, su ubicación es ideal y se encuentra cerca de todo lo atractivo de Cancún, especialmente de plaza la isla, tiene buena conexión de trasporte y en general estuvo agradable mi estancia.

I will never forgive the horrible week spent at Flamingo. Instead of being happy and enjoying with family, I spent my wedding week at their front desk trying to sort out all the issues from broken ACs, staff rudeness, cancelled reservations for my family and friends. The day before my wedding I was worried about where my 86 year old grandma was going to sleep because of their lack of planning and customer service. I trusted this hotel by recommending it to my guests and the experience was awful. It was embarrassing that I recommended Flamingo. It’s so sad that this is what most mexicans traveling to cancun can afford in our own country. The price difference is there for a reason, sadly. Rude, close minded staff, horrible food at the 2 tiny restaurants that makes you wait 40 minutes to sit down, room service that charges you 90 pesos PER ITEM they bring you so yes, cans of soda are included in the all inclusive package but if you want 5 cans brought to your room they will charge almost 500 pesos to bring them. ACs that don’t work, hotel staff gossiping or trying to sell things to guests starting at 7AM right outside your door. This hotel claims they can’t do you any favors due to their policy but doesn’t have any issues ignoring their policy of honoring a contract and give you a room you paid for. Flamingo robbed my family monetarily and from being able to be happy together at the beach which was a once in a lifetime trip for all of us. STAY AWAY FROM THIS HOTEL.

Lamentamos mucho tu horrible experiencia sin duda estoy seguro que si en su momento reporto con algún encargado del hotel le debieron de atender de inmediato sin embargo reconocemos nuestras áreas de oportunidad por lo que ofrecemos nuestras más sinceras disculpas por el mal momento.Como todo establecimiento tenemos reglas y en efecto políticas que seguir mismas que nuestros huéspedes firman desde su registro. Gracias a sus comentarios estaremos reforzando nuestras áreas de oportunidad; a pesar de sus comentarios negativos el hotel siempre tendrá las puertas abiertas para usted y su familia y se mantiene al margen de el sentimiento que este pueda generar ya que nuestros huéspedes son lo más importante para nosotros.

They need to get BETTER at servicing guests. Staff were rude specially at the buffet area Needs to IMPROVE menu Needs to IMPROVE MANTEINANCE of rooms. Our room was dirty, toilet did not work properly, faucets was broken, mirror blocked with TV, AC only worked at one temperature, and so many more details

Es un hotel para turistas de bajo presupuesto y cumple con lo esperado, si se tardan 10 minutos en asignarte mesa del restaurante pero es normal en restaurantes de ciudad, todo su personal se esmera en atenderte bien. A veces en el bar se tardan pero a todos le preparan lo que piden. Las instalaciones no son lujosas pero tiene una hermosa playa con palmeras, es mi quinta vez aquí y si regreso.

The beach was perfect but the service was awful. It should not be classified as an all inclusive everything cost extra including simply having drinks in the refrigerator in your room. You can only get one drink at a time and they will not fill water bottles. There was never any ice in the ice machine. The buffet food was below average and no one ever ask me if i would like a drink. We decided to eat at 10:30 one night , the restaurant closed at 11 as soon as we sat to eat the staff was flickering the lights as if to rush us out of there. I also wasn’t a huge fan of the security walking around at night shining there flashlights on everyone and being on the beach blowing a whistle at everyone and telling everyone where to swim. I read the negative reviews about this property before I booked it and decided i would judge for myself and even splurged on a swim up suite for added privacy but there was none.

Hotel was good! Love the staff super friendly and the good was super delicious. The cleanness also was good areas were kept clean. The only thing I would say it needs it more entertaining and also music around the hotel. Besides that everything was wonderful stay.
