The staff was great! The pools and the beach is as good or better than most properties I have visited in Cancun. Now the bad. Every full day I was there when I left and returned to my room I had to go back to the front desk and have my key card "reset" definitely not the end of the world, but still, it's an inconvenience. I also was never told that when I got to my room I had to put one of my key cards in a slot in order to activate the electricity in the room. I travel a decent amount and I have never encountered this. Definitely information I should have received at check in. Lastly, the food is not that great and for the the 4 days I was there it never changed. I'm definitely not anywhere close to a picky eater, but this is just not that great. Most places I've visited they at least change the food up, not here. Same food, in the same location(buffets) every day. I will give another Riu location another chance, and this location definitely has a lot of positives, but when I go to an all inclusive the food is key for me.
