Elevator not working.Had to walk to completely opposite end of hotel then back again just to get to room. Room lock defective. Place literally stinks. As I walked in to check in, the only employee at the front desk was just sitting on the phone with some customer and had me waiting for a while, just to give me the bad news. I am absolutely angry that I had to pay for a room in such a ghetto place, not to mention the hoodrats just hanging out, smoking in the balcony. I thought I was getting at least a decent clean place to sleep. The La Quinta name has gone down the drain in this place. What a dump!!!
